CHECKOUT IMPORTANT DATES
GATE is an entrance exam for admissions into postgraduate engineering courses for the academic year 2025-2025. The GATE 2025 examination will be conducted for 29 papers (subjects). A candidate can appear for only one of the 29 GATE papers. The examination for all the papers will be conducted in an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. GATE 2025 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on the 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th of February 2025.
All the papers of the GATE 2025 examination will be for 3 hours duration and they consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. Since the examination is an ONLINE computer-based test, at the end of the stipulated time (3 hours), the computer will automatically close the screen inhibiting any further action.

Every paper consists of a section of General Aptitude with 15 marks.
