National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Council centrally runs and regulates academics for B.Sc. Hospitality and hotel Administration and nine other structured courses of study are imparted at the existing 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 20 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector, and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT. Quality of education and training provided by the Institutes help students to emerge as professionally qualified persons for hospitality and other allied service sectors. The Council has trained more than 80,000 Hospitality Managers, Executives, and other operational persons. Its alumni from affiliated Institutes occupy key positions in the hospitality industry as well as in teaching institutions both in India and abroad.

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Application Form

NCHMCTJEE 2025 application fee for online and offline application modes is different. Candidates will be allowed to make fee payments both through online modes including Credit/ Debit card or net banking as well as through Demand Draft.

Online Process:

• Click on the official link of the NCHMCT application form
• Register with a valid e-mail id and password.
• Remit the application fee for NCHMCTJEE before proceeding to fill in the application form
• Fill in the NCHMCTJEE application form including personal details, academic qualification, and other required information
• Upload scanned copy of photograph and Signature
• Submit the application form for NCHMCTJEE and get printed out for future references

• GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 800/-
• SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 400/-

NCHMCTJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English (core/elective/functional) as one of the subjects from a recognized board.
• Students appearing for 10+2 can also sit for NCHMCTJEE 2025 on a provisional basis and are required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission
• Candidates who want to apply for NCHMCTJEE 20525 exam must have got passing marks in English subjects in Class 12
• The upper age limit is 22 years as on August 1, 2025, for candidates from the General and OBC categories. There is will relaxation of 3 years for SC/ ST candidates making the upper age limit 25 years for them.
• Candidates applying for the exam need to submit their physical fitness certificate after getting it approved by a registered medical practitioner in the format given on the official website.

• The exam will not be organized in pen and paper form and will be conducted online mode only.
• Question papers will be available in Hindi and English language
• Every correct answer will have one mark
• A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there for each wrong answer.

Reasoning: Alpha Numeric Sequence Puzzle, Alphabet Test, Arithmetical, Reasoning, Classification, Clocks & Calendars, Data Sufficiency, Deriving Conclusions from Passages, Direction, and distance Sense Test, Inserting the Missing Character, Time sequence test, Analytical reasoning, Cause and effect, Input and output arrangements, Seating arrangements, Coded inequalities, Decision making, Logical Sequence of Words, Logical Venn Diagrams, Puzzle Test, Series Test, Syllogism, Analogies/Decision-making, Coding/Decoding, Assertion and reason Statement and course of action, Non- verbal reasoning will include sense test, odd figures, analogy.

Quantitative: Averages, Boats & Streams, Clocks, Decimals & Fractions, HCF & LCM, Line Graphs, Logarithms, Mensuration, Mixtures & Allegations, Time, Speed and Distance, Profit and Loss, Permutation and Combination, Probability, Data Interpretation and sufficiency (will include Pie charts, Data table, Bar Graphs, Line graphs, Mixed graphs, case study, etc.), Unitary Method, Problem-based on numbers, Ration and Proportion, Partnership, Simple Interest Compound interest

NCHMCT JEE syllabus 2025

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Admit Card

The NCHMCT 2025 admit cards will be available online on the official website. NCHMCTJEE 2025 admit cards will be available from 1^st week of May 2025 to download. NCHMCTAdmit card will not be delivered to the candidate via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without an admit card.

NCHMCTJEE 2025 Result

The results of NCHMCTJEE 2025 will be announced on June 2025. The results will be uploaded on their official website and can be checked from there. The merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the NCHMCTJEE written test.

• Locate the “Check Result” tab.
• Click on the tab
• Enter application number
• The result will be displayed

NCHMCTJEE 2025 Counselling

The counselling will be based on merit. There will be three rounds of counseling the details of which will be available on the official website i.e. www.nchmcounselling.nic.in in the third week of June 2025.

Activities in Counselling:

• Checking of eligibility of applicants
• Verification of documents
• Deposit of counseling and first-semester fee
• Opportunity to choose the colleges available at the time of counselling as per the student’s AIR
• Aspirants can give as many choices of institutes as per their preferences
• No Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) will be involved in the selection process.

NCHMCT JEE Preparation Tips

• The English language has a maximum number of questions so it’s important to study English even if your language skills are good
• Revise English grammar focusing on Class 10th and Class 12^th
• Increase your vocabulary drastically and pay attention to spellings as questions do come to identify correct/incorrect spellings
• Other important topics in English include one-word substitutions, finding errors, and reading comprehension
• Use advanced-level vocabulary books and basic grammar books
• For numerical ability and scientific aptitude study basic concepts from NCERT Class 10 books
• Select reference books/ question books carefully so you do not end up studying more than required
• Practice puzzles for reasoning and logical deduction section
• Read current affairs regularly to prepare for the General knowledge section and to improve vocabulary
• Aptitude for the Service sector requires no real preparation, on spot logical thinking will help you clear the section
• Attempt ALL questions in 'aptitude' for the service sector as even the wrong answer will score you +0.25 marks
• Increase your vocabulary and think logically and you will sail through the examination.
