University of Petroleum and Energy Studies conducts (UPES) Law School Admission Test regularly known as ULSAT. ULSAT 2025 is a National level entrance exam. This exam is directed to provide admission to hopeful in-law courses, for example, BBA LLB, BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and LLM. Understudies who are intrigued can fill out the application shape from the official site www.upes.ac.in. The ULSAT Entrance Exam is led by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) and it is related to UGC, DSIR, NAAC, AIU, IGNOU, The Energy Institute (United Kingdom), ISO, Bar Council of India (2007), International Association of Universities, CUSAC. ULSAT is an online test with no pen or paper form.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through the UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. With an ambitious vision and unique approach, UPES emerged as an innovative institution offering industry-focused specialized graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology, Design, Planning & Architecture, Public Policy, and Legal studies.

ULSAT 2025 Exam Dates (Tentatively)

ULSAT 2025 Application Form

ULSAT 2025 Application Form will be available in both modes online and offline.

Online Mode

• Visit www.upes.ac.in
• Go to admission and click on ULSAT 2025 Application Form
• First Complete Registration Formalities
• Fill Application Form for ULSAT 2025 exam
• Make online payment
• Payment Acknowledgement will be generated showing payment confirmation detail
• Candidates need to keep a print of payment acknowledgment for future reference.

Offline Mode

• Application forms will be available in the office of UPES from November 2025 and the last date of submission of the application form by post or by hand is April 2025.
• It can be bought by paying the prescribed amount for ULSAT 2025 Application Form.
• Submit completely filled application form by post or by hand at the office of UPES along with the application fee to be remitted via cash or DD.
• Take Photocopies of All-Academic records, Age Proof, Category Proof, and Domicile Certificate along with you.

ULSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for LLB and B.Com LLB courses

• Applicants should make certain that they have passed the senior secondary examination before they think to apply for the examination.
• It is also important that they have secured a minimum of 50% marks at the higher secondary level of the examination.
• The age limit for both of the exams has been set as applicants should not be borne after 1996.

ULSAT 2025 Exam Pattern

ULSAT 2025 entrance exam will be conducted in the third week of May 2025. The exam will be conducted online mode. Details regarding ULSAT 2025 Exam Pattern are given below:

• Total of 150 questions are asked in the exam out of five sections.
• All the questions are of objective types
• Maximum marks are 150 and each question carries one mark for the correct answer.
• A negative marking scheme is not applicable in ULSAT 2025.
• ULSAT 2025 entrance exam test paper will be divided into 5 sections based on following

ULSAT 2025 Admit Card

ULSAT 2025 Admit Card will be made available from 2025.

Steps to download ULSAT 2025 Admit Card:

• Visit official website of university i.e. www.upes.ac.in
• Go to ULSAT 2025
• Look for ULSAT Admit Card and Click on it
• A new login form will open
• Fill Application Number and Date of Birth
• Click on Submit
• Admit Card will be displayed on your computer screen, save it and take a printed copy for future reference.

ULSAT 2025 Result

ULSAT 2025 Result will be announced expectantly in last week of July 2025 on official website i.e. www.upes.ac.in

Steps to check result for ULSAT 2025

• Go to the official website of UPES
• Look for Admission or On Home Page
• Click on ULSAT 2025 Result
• A new window will appear
• Login with Application Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth
• Score Card will appear on screen and download it

ULSAT 2025 Counselling

Candidates, who achieve higher ranks in merit list, get first chance to reserve seats in the counselling process. There may be only 2 or more rounds of counselling and admission process.

• After declaration of final result, shortlisted candidates will have to report to any of counselling canters across India.
• Admission will be finalised after reporting by candidate to counselling and admission process and verification of documents.
• On approval of documents, candidate will have to deposit admission fee for confirming admission and reserving seat within the stipulated time.

Documents Required During Counselling

• Filled in Admission form
• Scorecard and Admit Card of ULSAT 2025
• Mark sheets and pass certificate of H.S.C / S.S.C. / Equivalent from the Board of Secondary Education / CBSE / ICSC as the case may be.
• Consent of Parents / Legal Guardian for admission in prescribed format
• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
• Migration Certificate from the University / Board of last attended if required
• Medical Fitness Certificate in prescribed Format
• Identity Proof i.e. Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID / or School ID issued by competent authority
