Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test is a National level online entrance test that will be held at 62 test centers in over 40 major cities across India. This exam is conducted for admissions into different UG and PG programs that are offered by the University Excluding MBBS, BDS, MD/MS & MDS courses. The admissions of MBBS and BDS courses will be based on NEET scores.

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA University) is a Deemed University situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. SOA University was reaccredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade (the highest grade under the old system) in 2015 for 5 years. It was ranked as the 33rd-best National Institution, the 20th Best National University, and the Best Institution in Odisha by the MHRD through its NIRF Rankings in 2017.

SAAT 2025 Application Form

The details regarding the SAAT 2025 application form are given below:

  • Candidates can apply for SAAT 2025 online mode only.
  • SAAT 2025 application form will be available from January 2025.
  • Before filling out the application form, candidates are suggested to ensure their eligibility for the course they wish to apply.
  • Fill in all the details carefully in the application form.
  • Candidates are also required to upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature.
  • The acknowledgment of the receipt of the SAAT 2025 application will be intimated through e-mail or SMS.

SAAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the application form, the candidate must thoroughly go through the conditions for eligibility to sit for the exam because different courses have different criteria.

  • To get admission in Graduation/Bachelor’s degree courses, candidates must have qualified senior secondary examination (10+2 or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates from reserved categories will have relaxation in marks, for them a minimum of 45% marks are necessary for senior secondary examinations.
  • Also, the candidate pursuing a bachelor’s degree the student must have studied the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the senior secondary level.
  • Applicants who wish to pursue courses related to the medical field/ area must have studied Biology as a subject at the senior secondary level.
  • For admission in the Master’s degree program, the candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree with no less than 50% of marks.
  • However, for reserved category students, 45% of marks at the graduation level are mandatory.
  • The candidates, who wish to be admitted to M.Tech and have qualified for GATE 2025, will be relieved from the SAAT 2025 entrance exam; but it will be necessary for them to fill out and submit the SAAT 2025 application form.
  • For candidates applying for the course of M.Pharm –if the candidate has qualified for GPAT 2025, then he/she will be exempted from the examination, though they will be required to submit the SAAT 2025 application form.

SAAT 2025 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: Offline mode (PBT).

Medium of Question Paper: The language of the question paper will be English.

Question Paper Type: All the questions that will appear in the examination are of objective type.

Number of Questions: There will be 60 questions from every subject per hour of the examination. A total of 120 questions will be asked in the M.Tech exam. The question paper of B.Tech will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

Marking Scheme: Each correct response is followed by 4 marks.

Negative Marking: There is a negative marking. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

SAAT 2025 Syllabus

As SAAT is conducted for various courses. Therefore, the syllabus is different for each course. The syllabus for B.Tech/DDE/B.Pharm/B.Sc Ag./B.Sc Nursing comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (Botany or Zoology) subjects. It is basically of 10+2 standard. For Engineering (LE), the questions will come from Basic Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Engineering Mechanics.

SAAT 2025 Admit Card

Candidates will be able to get (download) their admit card from the official website of the University, approximately from April 2025, or 10 days before the SAAT 2025 entrance exam, The admit card will be made available on the website.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter and sit in the SAAT 2025 entrance examination without the admission ticket, that is, an admit card. The candidates must also read the instructions on the admit card or University website to avoid any trouble while appearing in the entrance examination.

SAAT 2025 Result

The result for SAAT 2025 will most probably be announced by the conducting authority within 3 to 4 weeks i.e. in May 2025, of successfully conducting the examination. SOA will only publish results online on its official website - http://www.soauniversity.ac.in/

Candidates can view and download their results through the following steps:

  • Visit the official website of SOA - http://www.soauniversity.ac.in/
  • Under the ‘Admission’ tab, click on ‘SAAT 2025 Result’
  • Enter the Application Number and Roll Number as filled in the application form
  • Click the ‘Submit’ tab
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Candidates must download and take a printout of results for future references

SAAT 2025 Counselling

  • The selected candidates will receive a rank card with a call letter via speed post for the counselling session.
  • The counselling process for admission begins after the merit list is displayed on the website.
  • Only those candidates who get shortlisted based on the merit list will be able to participate in SAAT 2025 counselling.
  • It must be noted that the counselling for candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2025 will be held separately.
  • To participate in SAAT counselling, the candidate will have to enter and lock in their choices within the stipulated time.
