SAAT 2024

The SAAT 2024 will be conducted on 20th, 24th, 27th, and 28th April 2024 for Phase 1 and Phase 2 exam will be conducted from 6th June 2024 to 9th June 2024. The registration process will begin on 1st January 2024 and will continue till 16th April 2024 for Phase 1 and 31st May 2024 for Phase 2. This exam is conducted by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The SAAT 2024 serves as a primary gateway for students aspiring to join SOA University.

The SAAT 2024 is a University-level entrance examination which is conducted twice a year in Phase 1 and Phase 2. Through SAAT 2024 is held annually to facilitate admissions into various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs offered by the university. The exam covers a wide range of disciplines including Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Management, Law, Agriculture, and Hotel Management.

SAAT 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the SAAT 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below depending on the various courses.

For UG Courses:

  1. B. Tech Course:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology as optional subjects.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category must score at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam. For reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), the minimum mark required is 40%.
  1. B. Pharm Course:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with English as a compulsory subject, along with any one of the following subject combinations: Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM); Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB); or Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (PCMB).
  1. B. Sc. Agriculture Course:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • General category candidates need 50% marks while SC/ST/OBC candidates need 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
  1. BBA and BBA LLB Course:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam in any stream.
  • General category candidates need 45% marks while SC/ST candidates need 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

For PG Courses:

  1. M.Sc. (General Science): Candidates must have completed their graduation with Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other relevant subject.
  2. M. Tech: Candidates must have completed their graduation in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks.
  3. MBA: Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
  4. M. Pharm: Candidates must have completed their B. Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks.
  5. M.B.B.S.: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks.

SAAT 2024 – Registration/Application Process

The registration and application process is conducted online. The process will start from 1st January 2024 (Phase 1) and will continue till 16th April 2024 for Phase 1. The application process for Phase 2 will start from 30th April 2024 and will continue till 31st May 2024.

Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website – https://www.admission.soa.ac.in and create a profile.  

Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.

Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then check all the details of their application form thoroughly and click on “Submit” button.

There is no application fee required for appearing in the SAAT exam.

SAAT 2024 – Availing of Admit Card

Candidates appearing for the SAAT 2024 will be able to download their admit cards online. These admit cards will be released in the 1st week of June 2024 for Phase 2.

To download the SAAT 2024 admit card, candidates need to visit the official SAAT website –admission.soa.ac.in and click on the direct link to download the SAAT admit card. Candidates will then be require to enter their login credentials after which it is recommended to check the accuracy of the details mentioned in their respective admit cards.

The SAAT admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam. Candidates without the hall ticket will not be allowed to take the test.

SAAT 2024 – Exam Pattern

The SAAT 2024 exam pattern is designed to evaluate the candidates' knowledge and aptitude for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University.

There will be a total of 120 questions which will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The mode of language for SAAT 2024 will be in English.

Time Limit: 3 hours

Marking: 4 marks for each correct answer will be given while 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.

SAAT 2024 – Results

The SAAT 2024 result will be published in the last week of June 2024 for Phase 1 and third week of July 2024 for Phase 2.
