NEET UG 2025 is the National wide undergraduate entrance examination for medical courses. NEET UG 2025 would be organized by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admissions into medical graduate courses MBBS and BDS. NEET UG has replaced the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual medical exams conducted by states or colleges. NEET UG 2025 application forms are expected to be released in the month of February 2025. Candidates must verify their eligibility criteria before applying for NEET-UG 2025.

  NEET UG 2025 Exam Pattern

NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be an Indian National
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Foreign Nationals are also eligible to apply, subject to fulfillment of applicable clauses.
  • J&K Migrants are also eligible under 15% of all India quota, subject to declaration.
  • Must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2025 and there is no upper age limit. Candidates appearing for 10+2 (12th) in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
  • There is no limit on the number of attempts to apply for NEET UG 2025.
  • Must have passed (10+2) 12th level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Minimum of 40% marks for reserved category of candidates and for PWD candidates’ minimum percentage is 45%.

15% All India Quota Seats Eligibility:

1. Candidate must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.

2. Minimum age limit is 17 years for all categories

3. Maximum age limit is 25 years for General candidates and 30 years for reservation categories.

4. The candidates belonging to J&K, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are eligible to appear the exam only for the admission to the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune on the basis of self-declaration.

85% State Quota seat Eligibility:

1. A candidate who passed/appeared for Class XII or equivalent exam in PCB Group from the state.

2. Candidate must have a valid domicile of the state.

3. Candidate must have residency proof of the state.
