Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2024: Seat allotment process

The DME authorities will consider and assign seats based on candidates’ NEET scores, their preferences, and the availability of seats in medical and dental colleges across Tripura.

This allocation will be done based on the merit list and reservation criteria. Once a seat is allocated, candidates must decide whether they want to accept the seat or not. If they choose to accept, they must download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.

Candidates who accept the seats need to report to the assigned college within the given timeframe. They must carry the required documents, pay the admission fees, and complete all necessary admission procedures to step ahead in the procedure.

The candidates will undergo a document verification process at the college to confirm their eligibility. This includes verifying their identity, NEET score, category, and academic credentials.

If candidates are dissatisfied with their allotted seat, they may request an upgrade in subsequent counselling rounds, if such rounds are available and if a seat upgrade is granted, the candidate must repeat the process of reporting to the new college and fulfilling all admission requirements.
