GATE 2025 Subject-Wise AIR Toppers List: The all India rank (AIR) list indicating the toppers in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has been released. Candidates can now check the subject-wise top rank holders in GATE 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is administering GATE 2025.
GATE AIR toppers list is released for all the test papers including aerospace engineering, agricultural engineering, architecture and planning and biotechnology.
GATE 2025 was held in February between February 1 and 16 and the result was declared on March 19. GATE 2025 score will be used for admission to postgraduate programmes and recruitment into public sector undertakings.
Valid GATE score can be used for seeking admission to master’s programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, or humanities; and doctoral programmes in relevant branches of engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts or humanities, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
The GATE 2025 scorecards will be available for free download from March 28 to May 31. From June 1 to December 31, candidates can avail the GATE 2025 score cards by paying a fee of Rs 500 per test paper.
The application form for admission through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal will be available on the official websites – gate2025.iitr.ac.in and goaps.iitr.ac.in.
In 2024, GATE saw an increase of 23 per cent in enrollment, as compared to 2023, about 6.70 lakh candidates registered for GATE for 29 papers, in total. Out of these, 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in more than 500 centres across the country with an overall attendance of about 77 per cent. The AIR one in 2024 was Raja Majhi from West Bengal’s Bardhaman district.
