KCET 2025 Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Government of Karnataka for admissions to professional courses like Naturopathy, Yoga, Homeopathy, Engineering/Technology, B.Pharma, Pharm-D, Agriculture, Veterinary etc for the seats to be notified by the Government in the educational institutions located in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2025-22. KCET 2025 online applications are made available from 1st week of February 2025.

KCET 2025 Notification:

KCET 2025 Exam Notification has been released. Filling out KCET 2025 Application Form starts from the 1st week of April 2025. The KCET 2025 Exam is scheduled for June 2025

The practical test fee of Rs. 500 has to be paid at the respective Practical Test Centre on the day of verification of documents in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller of the respective university.

 How to Apply:

1) The application should be submitted online mode only. For Online submission, visit the official website.

2) The candidate must first register on the official website with the required details.

3) Once registered, the candidate can log in and start filling out the online application form.

4) Candidates have to fill in personal, and academic details and save the application form at regular intervals.

5) Upload the scanned images of the Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression, and parent signature.

6) Take the printout of the challan and pay the fee at any branch of the specified banks or e-post office.

7) The candidate has to take the printout of the filled-in application form and obtain the principal seal and signature of their 12th Std / 2nd PUC college and preserve it for verification.

 KCET 2025 Application Form

KCET 2025 Eligibility:

1) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.

2) Candidates should pass the qualifying examination listed in KCET 2025 Notification. The candidates who passed from Karnataka State Open University are not eligible.

3) The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination i.e. 2nd PUC / 12th Std. in 2025 whose result is awaited are also eligible to apply and appear in the exam, however, he/she will not be eligible for admission unless they pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks.

4) Eligibility, admissions, and allotments made to and by the colleges shall be subject to approval by MCI / DCI / AICTE / COA / CCIM / Government / concerned University / Apex Bodies etc

KCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

KCET 2025 Exam Pattern:

1) The exam will be held in 2 days in 4 different sessions for four subjects.

2) Each paper/subject exam is held for 80 minutes.

3) The examination will be conducted in Offline Mode: Pen and paper Based Test (OMR).

4) NO NEGATIVE MARKING.

5) All questions are of objective type only.

6) The question paper in each subject will be in 16 different versions.

7) Each paper/subject is held for 60 marks.

KCET 2025 Exam Pattern

KCET 2025 Syllabus:

The syllabus for the KCET 2025 entrance exam will be based on the 1st and 2nd PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. The syllabus is comprised of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

KCET 2025 Admit Cards

KCET 2025 Hall tickets will be available from April 2025 tentatively on the KCET 2025 official website. Hall tickets will contain information like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, and venue details. Candidate has to download the hall ticket from the KCET 2025 official website. Hall tickets will NOT be sent by post or mail to the candidate.

KCET 2025 Results & Rank Card:

The KCET 2025 results will be released the last week of May 2025 tentatively through the official portal. The score/Rank card will be available after the release of results. Candidates can check and download the results and rank card from the KCET official website. Rank cards will NOT be sent by post or mail to the candidate.

KCET 2025 Counselling:

KCET 2025 Counselling will start in November 2025. Candidates will be called according to their marks and ranks obtained in the exam. Candidates must carry their original documents for verification as per schedule. Seat allotment is based on ranks obtained, filled choices, and seat availability. Candidates who are not satisfied can participate in other counselling rounds.

KCET Preparation Tips

KCET 2025 General Instructions:

1) The Candidates, who wish to apply for KCET, must apply online only.

2) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Centre well before so that you can take the examination tension-free.

3) It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they are answering the correct Question Booklet of the branch for which they are eligible for admission.

4) Candidates must return both the Question Paper Booklet and OMR Answer Sheet after the test. Other pages in the OMR sheet can be taken by the candidate for reference to his/her answers.

5) The Question booklet code, Hall Ticket Number, and other details must be entered correctly and properly on the OMR Answer Sheet, in the Test. Otherwise, ranks declared, if any will be cancelled subsequently in such cases.

6) Candidate must carry Black/Blue Ball Point Pens, to mark the answers.

7) Affix a recent colour photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) in the box provided on the Filled in Online Application Form and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied.

8) The candidate has to submit the filled-in Online Application Form at the time of verification of documents.
