Common Management Admission Test - CMAT is a national-level entrance examination for admissions into management programs, offered by AICTE-affiliated Management Colleges. Nearly 600 MBA colleges are affiliated to AICTE - All India Council Technical Education. Till 2025, it was conducted by AICTE annually, as per the directions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. CMAT Test will now be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CMAT exam is a three-hour computer-based online test that is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and entrepreneurship.

CMAT 2025 Registration and Application Form:

  1. Candidates have to register with basic details.
  2. Once registered, the candidate receives a 6-digit unique password.
  3. Login using your e-mail id and password
  4. Pay the fee as prescribed online/offline.
  5. Once payment is successful, complete the rest of the form and submit it.
  6. Once submitted, changes in the application are not entertained.

CMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must check their eligibility before applying for CMAT 2025.

  1. Candidates must be graduate or must be appearing for the final year of their graduation providing their results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2025-26.
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  3. There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT – 2025.

CMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Computer-based Test (CBT)
  • Duration of Exam: 180 minutes (3 hours).
  • Subjects: Quantitative Technique & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Each question carries 4 marks.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark is deducted for the wrong answer.

CMAT 2025 Syllabus

CMAT 2025 Admit Card:

  1. Candidates can download the CMAT 2025 admit cards after the official announcement which will be announced through the CMAT 2025 official website.
  2. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing and discipline as indicated in their Admit Card.
  3. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination centre, on a Date and time other than that allotted to them in their Admit Card.
  4. In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

CMAT 2025 Result

CMAT 2025 result date is yet to be announced.  All the AICTE-approved institutions/colleges/universities accept the CMAT 2025 score. The CMAT 2025 score is valid only for admissions to the academic year 2025-26. Candidates can download the scorecards from the official website.

CMAT 2025 Counselling Process

  1. NTA has no role in counselling for admission to the Management Programmes.
  2. Each candidate should apply separately to their desired participating institutions with their CMAT Score 2025.
  3. Institutions will release their respective cut-off CMAT marks. Each candidate who wants to apply should meet their cut-off marks to get qualified.
  4. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate's performance in GD & PI.
  5. Candidates are advised to read the details of the admission process of each Participating Institute of CMAT-2025 on their respective websites.
 Colleges Accepting CMAT 2025 Score

CMAT 2025 General Instructions:

  1. Candidate must have basic familiarity with computers, keyboard and mouse operation. It is the responsibility of the candidate to acquire these skills before appearing for the test and the institute cannot take responsibility for the same.
  2. Calculators and logarithmic tables are not allowed in the test centres. Candidates are not allowed to bring any other personal belongings such as mobiles.
  3. Blank sheets for rough work will be provided if required.
  4. Anyone violating the rules of the test centre will not be allowed to continue with the test and will automatically be disqualified.
  5. The candidate must fully obey the rules of the test centres; otherwise, he/she will be automatically debarred from the test.

Identification Documents required are,

1) Self Attested copy of CMAT 2025 Admit Card with recent passport-size photo pasted on it.

2) At least one original and valid photo identification. The name on the CMAT Application must match the name on the photo identification.

3) Photo identifications accepted are Driver’s License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, UID Card, and notarized affidavit (in English) with photo, signature, date of birth, and residential address.

4) SC/ST candidates must bring the valid caste certificate in original and an attested photocopy.

5) Physically disabled candidates are required to bring the valid Disability certificate in original and an attested photocopy.

6) Attestation can be done by the Institute Head.
