Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE) is a state-level examination overseen by JCECE Board. For induction into BE/B. Tech courses, the JCECE Board has directed the JCECE 2025 examination. It is sorted out to screen contenders for confirmations in the main year of degree-level proficient courses in the field of farming, ranger service, and medicinal (BHMS).

The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility to the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) for conducting entrance tests to administer the intakes into various Institutions within the state. JCECE 2025 Application Form

The process to apply for JCECE 2025 is simply because one can apply online as well as offline mode in the month of April. Make sure for moving to the official website and get details before applying.

Online Mode

  • If applying via online mode then visit the website http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in
  • Choose Apply JCECE 2025-22
  • Then select the group and start with the registration by adding personal details such as date of birth, email address
  • As soon as registration is done, you will come across the register number as well a password via email as well a mobile number
  • Then sign in with the registered number as well as the password
  • Fill out the application form with all details
  • Upload the scanned images such as signature, ph, too, and left thumb impression
  • Pay the application fee via modes such as net banking, bank challan, credit card, and debit card

Offline Mode

If applying via offline mode then ensure to purchase the OMR application from the post office or else download the ICR application form. Send the form and send it with the challan or DD in speed post, registered pose to the mentioned address.

JCECE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • If applying for B.E/B. Tech Course then the candidate must have passed 12th or I.Sc or some equivalent examination with PCM. Besides this, the candidate must have scored 45% marks and 40% for those who belong to SC and ST category
  • If applying for B.E/B. Tech Course B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc Forestry Course then the candidate must have passed 12th or I.Sc or some equivalent examination. The subjects included are Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
  • If applying for B.V.Sc & A.H Course then the candidate must have passed 12th or I.Sc or some equivalent examination. The subjects that are mandatory to have include Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English, and attained 50% marks. However, 40% marks is mandatory for SC and ST category candidates.
  • If applying for the BHMS course then it is mandatory to have passed 10+2/ I.Sc or some equivalent exam with PCB subjects

Age:

  • Those who are applying for B.E/B. Tech need not consider age as no restriction because there is no age limit for this
  • Those who are applying for B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc forestry must have completed 17 years. However, the maximum valid age is 22 years as on Jul 01, 2025. There is an age relaxation of 3 years for the candidates who belong to the SC and ST category
  • Those who are applying for B.V.Sc & A.H must have completed 17 years at the time of admission or else completed age as on or after 31st Dec of the year of admission det

JCECE 2025 Exam Pattern

Duration of Exam: 1 hour will be given for Biology & mathematics and 2 hours will be provided for Physics & Chemistry.

Total marks: Each subject group is assigned with total of 150 marks.

Type of Question: The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: For each wrong response, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score.

Language: The question paper will be published in both English and Hindi language.

JCECE 2025 Syllabus

The question paper for the examination will be based on a common syllabus for all courses. It will be prepared on the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE. The syllabus will be prepared from intermediate. It will comprise of the subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology.

JCECE 2025 Admit Card

Candidates can download the admit card online from our website. Admit cards will be available from the second week of May 2025. Admit cards will include the subject group and details of candidates such as Name, Father’s Name, Category, date of Birth, Photograph, etc. If candidates will find any discrepancy in any field, he/she can report to the Board’s Office personally till the 2nd week of May 2025.

Steps to download the JCECE 2025 Admit Card:

  • Candidates will have to visit the official website.
  • Then they have to log in using their registered credentials.
  • On successful login, they will be redirected to the homepage.
  • The candidates will have to clock on the JCECE 2025 Admit Cards tab on the homepage.
  • After clicking, a screen with be displayed, asking to enter the candidate’s application number, password, and security pin.
  • On entering the correct details, the JCECE 2025 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • The candidates are requested to cross-check all the particulars on it and download the admit card.
  • Take at least 2 printouts or more of the JCECE 2025 admit card and preserve them for future reference.

JCECE 2025 Result

Candidates can check their results from our website after declaration by the authority. JCECE results will be published in the last week of June 2025. The result will contain the score of the candidate. There is no provision for a re-evaluation of the answer sheet.

How to Check JCECE 2025 Result?

  • First, the candidate will have to visit the official JCECEB website.
  • Login with their registered credentials and clock on the JCECE 2025 results.
  • On clicking, the candidates will be asked to enter their roll number and group.
  • On entering the correct details, the candidate’s JCECE 2025 result and rank will be displayed on the screen.
  • Then, the candidates can take the printout of the JCECE 2025 result and preserve it for future reference and the admission process.

JCECE 2025 Counselling

A computerized distributed parallel counseling will be conducted by the board. The counseling may start in the month of July 2025. Candidates need to present all original documents at the counseling center for the document verification procedure. The merit list prepared by the board will consider for the allotment of seats in various institutions in the state.

JCECE 2025 Counselling & Seat Allotment Process

  • The candidates who have their names in the merit list released by the conduction body will have to attend the JCECE 2025 counseling personally at the JCECE Board office in offline mode. Here, the candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the counseling fee at the office.
  • The counseling of JCECE 2025 will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates will be allowed to select their choices of institute and course on merit-cum­ choice basis only after the scrutiny of the original certificates is successfully completed.
  • The second round of counseling will be conducted for the vacant seats after the recommended candidates in the first round of JCECE 2025 counseling have all booked their seats.
