FAQs:

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final-year student in any undergraduate course (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement for graduation, which is different for different MIs/Universities. For these details, refer to the prospectus of the particular MIs/University.
Candidates can choose any one of the two options to take the test: Paper-Based Test or Computer Based Test.
The Paper-Based Test is being conducted on the first Sunday of February, May, September and December from 10:00-12:30 hours. The Computer Test is being conducted from Saturday onwards (6 days after the Paper Test date) and in different Time slots.
The validity of the MAT score for that particular session for most MIs is one year.
There is no age restriction. Job experience is not necessary.
The Score Card is put on the AIMA website during the last week of the month of the test. Candidate can download his/her scorecard with his 6 digits Registration Form Number and 9 digits Roll NO from the AIMA website. An individual copy of Score Card with a photograph is also sent through normal post at the address given on the Registration Form.
