Puducherry Joint Entrance Test (PJET) is conducted by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry, for students who seek admission for first-year Engineering and Medical degree courses available in the Government Degree courses.
To get admission, candidates must appear for the JET relevant papers and also submit an admission application to CENTAC.
The candidates can request the Convener for the PJET 2025 application form along with a demand draft drawn in favor of the Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry along with two self-addressed slips to the following address

N.B.: Other than the Demand Draft, payment by money orders, postal orders, and cheques will not be accepted.
The admission form can also be obtained in person from selected post offices upon payment of the application fees. It should reach the above address on the mentioned dates and the applications received after the due date and time shall be rejected.
The Puducherry Joint Entrance Test (PJET) 2025 will have three papers of two hours duration each. The candidates will have to answer objective-type questions.
Paper –I
Mathematics: 60 Questions
Paper – II
Physical Sciences: 80 Questions (Physics 40 Chemistry 40)
Paper– III
Biology: 100 Questions (Botany 50 Zoology 50)
For the B.Tech degree course, the candidates should only appear in Papers I & II
PJET 2025
The selection of the candidates will be prepared by by CENTAC and it will be based completely on their performance in PJET 2025 and the marks obtained by them out of 200. Separate merit list will be prepared for B.Tech., B.Pharm. and other Biology based degree courses.
For B.Tech. Degree Course:
The selection of candidates for B.Tech. Degree Courses will be made by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained by them in both Paper I Mathematics and Paper II Physical Sciences of PJET 2025 and in the subjects that are prescribed for the qualifying examination [for HSC Academic - Mathematics, Physics and one of the optional subjects (Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology / Botany & Zoology) in which the candidate has scored highest marks (including the practical subject, if any) & for HSC Vocational - Vocational Subject Theory, Vocational Subject Practical and Related Subject (including practical, if any)].
