Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India and is the second-largest exam after CAT. XAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. MBA aspirants with passing Bachelor’s Degrees from a recognized university or institute in any discipline will be eligible to apply for XAT 2025. XAT Exam is conducted for admission in more than 150 B-Schools in the country. The XAT 2025 exam is scheduled for the 5th of January 2025.

XAT 2025 Notification by XLRI Jamshedpur has been released. The online application process for XAT 2025 starts in July 15 2024 and closes in November 30 2024. XAT 2025 applications are received online only.

XAT 2025 Application Form

The form for XAT 2025 will be released on July 15, 2024.

1. You will first have to go to XAT Online
2. Click on “XAT Registration” fill in the preliminary information and submit it.
3. After completion of these details, you will receive the XAT ID and password through Email & SMS.
4. Do note that you are required to create your own password
5. After completing the form, you will have to log into XAT 2025 and fill in the educational, qualification details, and select the favoured city for the examination.
6. Candidates must upload their digital signature as well as a colour photograph of passport size online for XAT 2025.
7. The final process takes you to the payment page.
8. Candidates pay the requisite fees via online modes of payment for XAT 2025.
9. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria should print the online confirmation page or receipt for future reference.

XAT 2025 Eligibility

• There is no age bar for taking XAT for admission into XLRI and allied institutes.
• The candidate must have scored at least 50 percent marks in their graduation degree to satisfy the eligibility criteria for XAT 2025.
• There is a quota system for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs as well as Physically Handicapped Classes.
• There is a 5 percent relaxation in the marks eligibility department for XAT 2025.
• For the XAT 2025 examination, there is no specific allocation of seats in terms of numbers for the reserved categories of candidates.
• Candidates will be eligible to take XAT 2025 even when in the final year of graduation.

• The total number of questions to be answered will be 78 and the test duration will be 170 minutes.
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• Each wrong answer fetches a negative marking of ¼ mark.
• However, the essay and general knowledge sections will see no negative markings.

XAT 2025 Admit Cards

1. Candidates who have applied for XAT 2025 will be able to download their XAT 2025 Admit Cards from xatonline.net.in.
2. Candidates must provide XAT Registration ID and Password to download the XAT 2025 Admit Card.
3. It must be noted that the XAT 2025 admit card will only be made available online. They will not be sent to the candidates via post or courier.

Based on previous years’ question papers, there are several topics that the students need to focus on.

Quantitative Ability – The questions in the quantitative section are generally asked from topics like arithmetic, geometry, linear equations, graphs, probability, algebra, profit and loss statistics, logarithm and progressions, trigonometry etc.

Verbal Ability – In the Verbal Ability section, the candidates can expect questions related to jumbled paragraphs, analogies, fill-in-the-blanks, sentence correction, and reading comprehension.

One of the best ways to prepare for XAT is to practice XAT sample papers in 2025. This year, XAT has gone online and the candidates must prepare accordingly. With the help of XAT sample papers, practice papers, and previous year's question papers, candidates can become familiar with the test pattern and also gain insights into the types of questions asked in the exam.

1. XAT Results 2025 exam will be announced in the last week of January 2025. On the basis of the XAT result, the candidates can seek admission to XLRI and other participating institutes across the nation.
2. The candidates will be able to download their scorecards on the basis of their login details.
3. XAT 2025 score will remain valid for one year.
4. Also, the percentage and percentile of the General Knowledge section will not be a part of the Total percentage and percentile. It will be calculated independently.
5. The GK percentile and percentage will be independently calculated and will not be revealed in the total.
