A famous national admission exam, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is held in India once a year. This test has great significance because it is a requirement for entrance to a number of management programs that are provided by nationally recognized universities. XLRI (Xavier School of Management) coordinates the XAT on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes).
Sunday, January 8, 2024 is the scheduled date of XAT 2024.The deadline for XAT 2024 enrollment is November 30, 2023. For candidates to be eligible to take the XAT exam in 2024, their forms must be completed before the deadline. The XAT exam fee has gone up by INR 100 this year. The sum that must be paid is INR 2,100/-. The XAT is run by XLRI on behalf of XAMI. In order to choose the best applicants for management education, XLRI has been conducting the XAT across the country for more than 72 years. More than 160 institutes use the XAT score for admissions.

Ques.1 How many times a year is the XAT exam held?
Ans. XAT Exam held once in a year.
Ques.2 What happens in case of any technical glitch in the computer of some candidates?
Ans. In the odd event that there is a technical issue, the candidate won't lose any time by switching to a different terminal.
Ques.3 What are the time limits given to the students for completing the XAT 2024?
Ans. Candidates will be provided with a total time limit of 210 minutes (3 Hours 30 minutes).
Ques.4 What is the marking scheme in XAT Exam?
Ans. For every correct response to the XAT, one mark will be given. For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be subtracted. If there are more than eight unanswered questions, 0.10 points will be deducted. The General Knowledge (GK) portion will not be marked negatively and The General Knowledge component scores will not be taken into account when determining the XAT score.
