AIIMS 2025 - All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam all over India. AIIMS exam is conducted to grant admission in the 707 MBBS seats offered by AIIMS, Bhopal, New Delhi, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, and Rishikesh. AIIMS 2025 examination will be held in May 2025. This exam will be conducted through CBT (computer-based test) in various cities. AIIMS 2025 Application Form

Here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Go to the official website www.aiimsexams.org

Step 2: Fill down the complete and correct details in the form. Those are your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, nationality, state, gender, communication address, email address, mobile number, and AADHAR number

Step 3: After the final submission, note down your registration number.

Step 4: In the next screen upload your passport-size photograph and signature.

Step 4: Make payment for the application form fee and print the confirmation page.

AIIMS 2025 Eligibility

The Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS 2025 Examination are as follows:

Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

Minimum Marks: Students must have obtained a minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects which is 60% for general/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates.

Age: The minimum age limit is 17 years as of the 31st December of the year of admission. Students born on or after 2nd January 2002 are not eligible to apply.

Nationality: Indian Citizen, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India), and Foreign Nationals.

 AIIMS 2025 Exam Pattern

  • The examination will be conducted in both online mode and offline mode (computer-based).
  • The exam duration will be of 3.5 hours (210 minutes).
  • The Question Paper will comprise a total of 200 multiple types (objective) type questions.
  • The applicant will secure 1 mark for every right answer.
  • 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • According to the exam pattern announced by the AIIMS, the exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi.

AIIMS 2025 Admit Cards

AIIMS Admit Card will be available in April 2025. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their application number and password.

  • Candidates can get the admit card via online mode through the website.
  • The admit card will not be sent by post.
  • Admit card will contain details like roll number, exam centre, exam date, time, etc
  • Candidates are not allowed to appear in the examination without producing a valid admit card.

AIIMS 2025 Syllabus

The syllabus will be of 12th class standard under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. The AIIMS syllabus will comprise of subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude. The detailed syllabus is given here:

  • The results will be published on the official website of AIIMS.
  • The candidates who obtained the minimum qualifying marks for AIIMS MBBS 2025 examination can check their rank card and the merit list on the results page of the official website of AIIMS.
  • The applicants can check the results for AIIMS MBBS 2025 online on the official website of AIIMS by entering details such as their name, roll number, category, and father’s name.

AIIMS 2025 Counselling Process

  • The seats will be filled up by the open competition, the first qualifying students will be called by the authority for counseling based on merit, and the category is also mattered for admission.
  • Reserved category candidates will be called by the authority for counseling to fill up the seats provided in 7 institutes in order of merit decided.
  • Applicant must be present at the time of allocation of seats. The applicant can select their choice of institute when they called for counseling as per the merit list in the SC/ ST/ OBC/ General category. If once student's choice is made then it will be final, after that it will not be changed again.
  • Applicant seats will be allotted based on their performance and their ranks and order of preference.

Documents that must be possessed by the candidate during the counseling:

  • Admit card of AIIMS 2025
  • Call letter issued by AIIMS, New Delhi
  • Proof of Date of Birth (Adhar Card, Birth Certificate)
  • 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
  • Migration certificate from the Institute last attended by the applicant

  1. As the AIIMS exam 2025 will be conducted online mode, therefore, candidates need to gain some skills to be able to operate the computer.
  2. The time man agent is very crucial in the exam and candidates can learn by attending the mock test.
  3. Find out the areas where you are weak and where you are strong and then prepare accordingly.
  4. The topics will be ranging from the subjects of Physic to Biology to chemistry and then general awareness, therefore, it will be advantageous for the candidates to give equal time to each subject as the weightage will be the same for all except the GK.
