MAT 2025 – Counselling

• MAT 2025 does not have a centralized counselling process conducted by AIMA. Instead, each participating institute manages its own selection and admission procedures separately.
• After the MAT 2025 results are announced, participating institutes will announce their cut-off scores. Candidates meeting or exceeding these cut-offs will be shortlisted for the next stages.
• Qualified candidates must apply individually to the colleges or institutes of their choice that accept MAT This involves filling out application forms and sometimes paying institute-specific fees.
• The shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in further selection rounds, which generally include Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and sometimes a Written Ability Test (WAT). The nature and number of these rounds may vary between institutes.
• Details regarding the date, time, venue, and required documents for the selection process will be communicated to candidates, typically through email or official institute portals.
• During the selection rounds, candidates must present required documents such as the MAT admit card, scorecard, academic certificates, photographs, and other documents specified by the institute.
• After evaluating candidates’ performance in all rounds, institutes will prepare a final merit list. Admission offers will be extended to candidates selected as per the institute’s criteria.
• Those who will receive admission offer must confirm their acceptance by paying the requisite fees within the stipulated timeframe to secure their seat in the selected programme.
