Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is a state level entrance exam conducted every year by JCECEB. The exam will be given in order to provide admission to different undergraduate programs. Admission to B.Tech., B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, Horticulture, Agriculture, B. FSc., BVSc., and A.H. programs will be granted to qualified students. Candidates must have valid JEE Main results in order to be admitted to the B. Tech program.

JCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The qualifying requirements for applying in the JCECE application form 2024 for several undergraduate courses, are provided here. The following will allow candidates to verify their eligibility, residency, and other requirements:

Age Requirements: The following lists the age requirements for each course:

• For the B.Tech in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, and Fisheries course, the minimum age requirement is 17 years old, and the maximum age limit is 22 years old as of July 1^st, the test year.
• For the Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Course, candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 1^st of the year they are applying. As of December 31, 2024, the maximum age for the B.V. Sc. & A.H. program will be 25 years old.
• For B.V. Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture & B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech (Diary Technology), and Bachelor in Fishery Science courses, candidates from the reserved category will receive a five-year relaxation.

Domicile Eligibility:

• Students must be Indian citizens in order to be eligible for a domicile.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Jharkhand, either permanently or locally.
• At the time of counseling, candidates must present their proof of permanent residency or local resident.

Criteria for Education Qualification: The following list outlines the educational requirements for the JCECE 2024 entrance exams.

• Agriculture and Forestry Course:Applicants must pass the class 12^th /I.Sc. or an equivalent test, with Physics and Chemistry required, along with one of Mathematics or Biology.
• Those candidates appearing in the examination can also apply for the JCECE but they have passed their examination before the date of counselling.
• Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Course: In order to participate in the designated stream, all candidates must meet the specified qualification requirements in accordance with V.C.I. norms.
• The candidate must pass the I.Sc., 10+2, or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as required subjects.
• Appearing candidates must also apply for this programme. Candidates must have secured a minimum 50% marks for general and 40% marks for reserved categories.
• A higher secondary diploma or its equivalent is required for admission to the Bachelor of Fisheries Science program. It is required for candidates to have either Inter (Agriculture) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

JCECE 2024 Application Process

The application for JCECE 2024 will be available during the 2^nd week of November 2024. 4^th week of November 2024 will be the deadline for submitting the application. • Applicants must complete the application, providing their personal information, educational background, phone number, etc.

• Next, pay the application fee through both offline and online.

JCECE 2024 Admit card

The JCECE Admit Card will be available online around the fourth week of November 2024. Candidates must enter their login credentials in order to download their admit card. The admit card includes information about the candidate, including name, father's name, category, location, date, and birthdate. Applicants can obtain their admit card through the website if their application was filed properly.

JCECE Syllabus will be based on 11^th  and 12^th  level such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates can check some topics below:

Physics: Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Physical World and Measurement, Work, Energy & Power, Rigid Body, Motion of System of Particles, properties of Bulk Matter, Current Electricity, Electromagnetics Waves, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Optics, Atoms & Nuclei, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation.

Chemistry: Some Basic concepts of Chemistry, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Solid State, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, State of Matter, p-block, d and f block elements, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Biomolecules, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Organic Compounds. 

Mathematics: Sets, Relations & Functions, Principle of Mathematical Induction, Trigonometric Functions, Linear Inequalities, Complex Numbers and Quadratics Equations, Binomial theorem, Sequence and Series, Permutations & Combinations, Straight Lines, Limits and Derivatives, Statistics, Introduction to three-dimensional, Mathematical Reasoning, Relations and Functions.

JCECE  2024 Result

The JCECE Results 2024 will be announced during the first week of December. The result will be made available online. A merit list for every course provided will be made public by the authority based on JCECE 2024 results. To view their results, candidates will need to follow these below mention steps.

JCECE 2024 Exam Counselling

In the fourth week of December 2024, JCECE Counseling will start. The counseling will take place entirely online. It will be mandatory for all the short-listed candidates to participate in the counselling process.

During the counseling process, candidates will be required to select the course and college they wish to attend. After the counseling process is over, the authorities will assign seats to the candidates. In order to complete the verification and submission process, candidates must additionally present a few essential papers.

On the official website, candidates can view the course-specific information regarding the available seats at participating institutions. In addition, candidates must pay the interview fee based on their category, which can be paid using a bank challan that can be downloaded from the website. 

Candidates must also submit the counselling fee via RTGS, credit card, debit card, or net banking method. The counselling fee for General Category/EWS/BC-I/BC-II category candidates is Rs. 400/-, while the counselling fee for SC/ST & female candidates of all categories is Rs. 250/-
