CHECKOUT IMPORTANT DATES
NEET UG 2025 is the national-wide medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses organized by NTA (National Testing Agency). NEET UG has replaced the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual medical exams conducted by states or colleges. NEET UG 2025 counseling is going to be organized by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for 15% All India Quota seats. For the State Quota and central universities, institutions and others will be conducted by their counseling authorities. Candidates have to choose the colleges according to their requirements. The seat will be allotted depending on choices made by the candidate and the availability of seats.
Candidates qualified in NEET UG by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage are eligible for appearing for counselling. The minimum percentage for the general category is 50 (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45 Percentage for General-PH). Candidates who are qualified in NEET UG are required to register for counselling process at mcc.nic.in
Counseling of candidates qualified in NEET UG 2025 under the All India Quota(AIQ) of 15 percent including seats at Union Government Colleges (except in Jammu and Kashmir), Deemed Universities, seats reserved for Children of Insured Persons (IP quota) in ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) Medical Colleges and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune.
Counselling for candidates qualified in NEET UG 2025, under 85% (remaining quota) shall be taken up by the respective State Government’s Medical /Dental Colleges on behalf of respective Medical Counselling Committee. Candidates desirous of seeking admission under this quota must comply with the instructions of the concerned State Government for counseling accordingly.

Date of commencement of Counselling process
The NEET online counselling would be conducted in 3 rounds. The online counseling procedures are mentioned here:
1. Candidates who are applying for counselling have to register themselves before participating in the NEET counselling. Candidates have to enter their name, registration number, roll number and Date of Birth etc.
2. Login id and password will be given to the candidates in registered email id and mobile number.
3. Candidates have to log in with the given email id & password for further process.
1. Candidates have to choose the colleges and courses according to their preference.
2. Candidates have to lock their Choices, after the selection of their preferred colleges and courses
3. The candidate receives a message regarding the seat allotment in course and college after a few days of choice filling.
4. On the basis of rank obtained by the candidate and availability of seats in the selected college, seat allotment will be done.
Candidates have to report in the allotted college in a given time period and confirm their seat. If any candidate would not report at the given time period, the seat would be allotted to another candidate.
Documents required at the time of Joining
Candidates have to carry the following original documents along with the attached photocopy of the documents for verification.

g) Six Passport size Photographs

Step 1: Registration
Any Candidate intending to apply online for counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) must register for the NEET UG 2025 counseling at mcc.nic.in by entering Roll Number, registration number, name, mother’s name and date of birth as printed on the NEET UG 2025 Scorecard.
Step 2: Payment of Fee for Counselling:
Candidature of a candidate shall be considered for counselling only on payment of requisite fee. NEET UG 2025 counseling fee has refundable and non-refundable components. Hence, candidates have to make payments accordingly and keep a hard copy with them.
Step 3: Exercising and Locking Choices:
In the 3rd Step, candidates must fill in the choice of course they prefer and give preferences of the College, State they intend to get admission. Candidates can exercise their options for as many as colleges they prefer and lock their choices.
Step 4: Seat allotment List:
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC will release the seat allotment list of NEET UG 2025. Within the stipulated time, candidates are required to download the NEET UG 2025 seat allotment letter, which provides the details of college allotted.
Step 5: Reporting to the allotted College:
In this last step, candidates are required to report to the allotted College with the stipulated time along with their Allotment Letter of NEET UG 2025 and complete remaining admission formalities of the college concerned.
