KMAT Karnataka 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of KMAT 2025 is laid down by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). According to the KMAT 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university in Karnataka. Being able to understand the eligibility criteria is a matter of concern for each candidate before applying for KMAT 2025. As any aspirant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria set by KPPGCA will not be allowed to sit for the management entrance exam.

KMAT Karnataka Eligibility Criteria 2025

Age: The minimum age required for admissions to the postgraduate programme through KMAT 2025 is 21 years. There is no specific upper age limit to apply for the course.

Academic Qualification: The academic qualification varies for different programmes. Candidates should satisfy KMAT 2025 eligibility according to the course they are applying for per the UGC guidelines.

The minimum marks requirement for different courses is mentioned below:

MBA/PGDM

Candidates seeking admission into MBA courses via KMAT must have Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years duration. Master’s degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate).

Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

MCA

Candidates seeking admission into MCA courses via KMAT must have Bachelor's degree with 50% marks. Candidates with Maths at 10+2 stage or at graduation level.
