The JIPMER PG 2024 Allotment (Round 1) for admissions through INI SS (D.M/M.Ch) was issued on December 12, 2023. For admissions through INI CET (MD/MS), the mock allocation has been made available. Through the INI CET and INI SS entrance exams, admission to JIPMER PG is available. Medical entrance exams at the national level, known as INI CET and INI SS, are required for admission to MD/MS and DM/M.Ch. programs.

AIIMS, or the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, is in charge of it. To be admitted into these three- and six-year PG medical programs at JIPMER and other collaborating universities, interested applicants must pass the INI CET and INI SS entrance tests. This examination is organised twice a year in two sessions – January & July session. Application for the July session (INI CET) is expected to begin from 1^st week of March 2024 and for (INI SS ) registration will begin most probably from the 4^th week of March 2024 exam dates for INI CET and INI SS July session will be 2^nd week of May and April 2024 respectively.

JIPMER PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

The JIPMER PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria are listed below, and candidates must review them before completing the application:

For MD/MS INI CET:

• Nationality: Candidates who are foreign nationals, OCIs, NRIs, or Indian nationals may apply. Foreign candidates who receive official government nominations will not be required to take the exam.
• Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree that has been approved by MCI or NMC. Candidates must have finished the necessary 12-month rotating internship or practical training program by January 31, 2024 (January session), or July 31, 2024 (July session), at the latest.
• Passing Marks: A minimum of 55% of marks will be required in case of general category and 50% for reserved category candidates to be eligible.
• Appearing: Applications for AIIMS PG 2024 will also be accepted from candidates who will be appearing in the qualifying exam in 2024. 

For INI SS (DM/M.Ch):

• Qualification Exam: To apply, candidates must hold an MD or MS degree from a board or university that has been approved by MCI.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must not be older than 35 on January 1, 2024 (Jan session) or July 1, 2023 (July session) to be eligible for the exam. those in the SC/ST category would receive a five-year age relaxation, while those in the OBC category would receive a three-year age relaxation.

In the first week of March 2024, the INI CET application form will be available for the July session. JIPMER PG 2024 Syllabus

The JIPMER PG 2024 curriculum for MD/MS admission is derived from the INI CET curriculum. Higher secondary-level questions will be the basis for the syllabus's questions. The curriculum from several areas, including physics, biology, chemistry, general knowledge, and aptitude tests, will be covered.

Only the syllabus from INI SS will be required for admission to DM/M.Ch at JIPMER. • Duration: Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam.
• Type of Questions: The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions or MCQs.
• Medium: Only English will be offered for the exam.
• of Questions: There will be 200 questions in all during the exam.
• Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each right response. For each wrong answer, one-third of a mark will be taken away.

INI SS (D.M/M.Ch): 

• Exam Mode: The exam will only be accessible online via a computer.
• Medium: The sole available medium will be English.
• Question Count: The exam will consist of 80 questions in total.
• Type Questions: There will only be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in this paper.
• Duration: Paper 1 will take a total of one hour and thirty minutes, or 90 minutes.
• Exam Total: There will be 80 total marks awarded for the test.
• Marking scheme: Examiners will receive a single mark for each correct answer.
• Negative marking: For each incorrect response, one-third of a mark is subtracted.
