JIPMER PG 2026 – Counselling

JIPMER PG 2026 counselling for admission to postgraduate medical courses (MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ M.Ch.) will be conducted online in December 2025 for the January session. The process is managed via the INI CET and INI SS exams and coordinated by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

JIPMER PG 2026 Counselling Procedure:

• Eligible candidates will be required to register for counselling on the official MCC portal – mcc.nic.in, filling in required details and paying a counselling fee.
• Candidates select their preferred courses and JIPMER campus (Puducherry or Karaikal) online during choice filling.
• Shortlisted candidates must upload or present their documents, such as INI CET/INI SS scorecard, admit card, rank letter, MBBS degree, certificate of registration, and other specified documents.
• The MCC allots seats based on INI CET/INI SS ranks, choices selected, reservation, and seat availability. Allotment results are also published online in the official website.
• Selected candidates must report physically to JIPMER Puducherry or Karaikal for medical examinations, document verification, and fee payment to complete their admission procedures.

Documents Required at Counselling (in General):

• Admit card and rank letter/admission letter
• MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets
• Class 10th certificate (DOB proof)
• Permanent medical registration certificate
• Character and transfer certificates
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Four passport-size photographs
