JEE Main Admit Card 2018 Available – Download here

The admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2018 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the official website – jeemain.nic.in. The pen-paper (offline) exam will be held on 8th April 8, 2018 and the computer-based (online) exam will take place on 15th to 16th April, 2018.

Clearing the JEE mains and advanced papers will make candidates eligible for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.

JEE Main Admit Card 2018 - Steps to download

Step 1: Log on to the official website mentioned above

Step 2: Click on ‘Download admit card’ link

Step 3: In the provided fields enter your application number, password and security pin

Step 4: Click on login

Step 5: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Download the same and take a printout for future reference

JEE Main 2018 Examination Cities:

JEE (Main) 2018 will be conducted in major cities and towns of India as well as abroad.

While applying, candidates must select four centre cities in case of pen and paper based examination and one city in case of Computer-based examination.

Number of Attempts:

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to three.

JEE Main Admit Card 2018 - Date & Time Schedule

The authority has released the admit card on 12th March 2018. JEE Main exam will be conducted on 8th April 2018 for pen and paper based mode and 15th & 16th April 2018 for online mode exam.

JEE Main 2018 - Instructions for Candidates

Some important exam instructions for candidates are given below:

  • All the candidates should bring the printout of the admit card along with the one ID proof.
  • Candidates can bring Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card with them.
  • Students belonging to PWD category should also carry a photocopy of PWD certificate.
  • Carefully check all the details printed in the JEE Main admit card 2018. In case of any mistake, contact to the JEE Main Secretariat.
  • Students are suggested to reach the exam centre 2 ½ hours before the exam to complete the verification & security process.
  • Calculator, textual material, log tables, slide rules, mobile phones, pagers, etc are not permitted in the exam centre.
  • For offline exam, candidates must bring their clip board at the exam centre.
  • Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card, ID proof & PWD certificate (if required).
  • If students found using any unfair means, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be debarred from taking examination.
