AILET 2025 Syllabus

AILET Syllabus comprises of Subjects like English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Basic Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning.  Each section will have a weightage as per the number of questions. The syllabus is completely based on the 10+2 standard. There would be 150 questions (Multiple Choice Questions) and 1 mark is given for the right answer. Here we are providing all the details about AILET 2025 syllabus.

 AILET 2025 Admit Card

AILET 2025 Syllabus for English:

There would be Total of 35 Questions and will cover General English content like:

  • Vocabulary Testing Questions
  • Reading Comprehension Paragraph
  • Fill in blanks
  • Tenses
  • Synonyms / Antonyms
  • Idioms / Phrases
  • Correct Sentence Selection

AILET 2025 Syllabus for General Knowledge:

A total of 35 questions in this section will be derived from:

  • Current Affairs (Sports, Politics, Inventions, Achievements etc.)
  • History
  • Geography
  • General Science
  • Economics

AILET 2025 Syllabus for Basic Mathematics:

A total of 10 questions will be covered topics from 10+2 standard maths like:

  • Algebra
  • Time and Work
  • Profit and Loss,
  • Average
  • Speed and Distance,
  • Permutation and Combination and
  • Diagrams

AILET 2025 Syllabus for Legal Aptitude:

A total of 35 Questions in this section will cover general aptitude for the study of law, research aptitude, and problem-solving ability. Logical answers on the basis of given facts for identifying the problem and finding solutions will be the target area in this syllabus.

  • International Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Torts
  • Intellectual Property Right
  • General awareness of Law, Constitution etc.

AILET 2025 Syllabus for Reasoning:

A total of 35 questions will be from general reasoning.

  • Relations
  • Series
  • Sequences
  • Directions

AILET 2025 Syllabus for LL.M

Total of 150 questions will be in the test paper divided into 2 sections. Section 1 will consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each and Section 2 will have a Case Study type Essay. The syllabus is based on LL.B subjects and study material. Some topics may be:

  • Torts
  • Criminal Law
  • Legal Theory
  • Constitutional Law
  • Contract

AILET 2025 Syllabus for PhD

Total of 100 Questions will be covered from Research Methodology. Some topic will be:

  • Qualitative and Quantitative Studies
  • Hypothesis
  • Research Methods
  • Gathering of Data
  • Analysis of Data
  • Data interpretation
  • Testing and Revising Hypothesis

On being passed in AILET, the candidate will have to submit a research proposal on the topic or subject research is to be pursued.
