AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria are required to be fulfilled before applying for this exam. The notification for AILET 2025 has been released in the month of 27-May-2024. NLU - Delhi (National Law University) conducts AILET (All Indian Law Entrance Test) which is a National level examination to offer admission to deserving applicants in UG & PG law courses. Candidates can get admission in UG & PG law courses like B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. professional courses through this entrance exam. For BA LLB (Hons): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2025 can also apply
Age Limit: Below 21 years as of 01st July 2025 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying exam
Total Seats: 80 seats, 10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities [One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants; two supernumerary seats for students from J&K subject to the approval of Governing Council; the candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfil the eligibility criteria as applicable
For LLM (One year): LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability); the candidates appearing in the final LLB examination in April/May 2023 can also apply
Total Seats: 45+5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)
Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities
For PhD: LLM Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).
