AILET 2025 Exam Pattern details will be released by National Law University, Delhi, in its official notification. NLU is the only Law University that conducts its own entrance test. AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a national-level exam that is held once a year for admission to law programs. Candidates can get admission in undergraduate and postgraduate law courses like B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. professional courses through this entrance exam. Duration of exam: Each and every candidate has 90 minutes duration time for the exam. Applicants should be careful about the time.
Number of Questions: Here In AILET candidate face 150 problems will be there in B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) If you are talking about the LL.M. course, so there will be 100 MCQ questions and 1 essay type question on the law.
Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type exam paper. AILET which conduct by NLU, Delhi, the candidate will face 150 MCQ for B.A, LL.B, (Hons) And for the LL.M course candidate need to face 100 MCQ and one essay type question.
Total marks: each question has one mark for AILET exam. The candidates face here 150 questions for 150 marks.

For objective questions, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking in the entrance exam. As per the marking policy of AILET 2025, if a candidate has responded a question with two options, it’ll be regarded wrongly attempted and no marks will be awarded or deducted for the same.
No marks will be awarded for questions left unanswered or non-attempted.
