AILET 2024: How to mark OMR Response Sheet and Answer Booklet?

NLU Delhi has given the following guidelines for marking the OMR response sheet:

  • Use only BLACK/ BLUE BALL POINT PEN for writing the Roll No. /details on OMR Response Sheet & Answer Booklet and for shading the circles.
  • The answer circle should be shaded completely without leaving any space. Incomplete circles will not be evaluated. Indicate only one answer by shading from the options provided. More than one response to a question shall be counted as ‘wrong’.
  • Handle the OMR Response Sheet with care and don’t fold, wrinkle, tear or staple it.
  • The OMR Response Sheet is carbonized; you need to detach the second page (carbon copy) of the OMR Response Sheet and keep it with you for reference along with using the Question Booklet.
  • The candidate will not be given a  second blank OMR Response Sheet, except in exceptional cases. So, the OMR Response Sheet must be handled carefully.
  • At 12:30 pm, all the candidates shall stop writing and return the OMR Response Sheets and Answer Booklet to the invigilator.
  • It may be noted that carrying the OMR Response Sheet and Answer Booklet out of the Test Centre will lead to the disqualification of the candidate. Further, it will be treated as an offense and appropriate action will be taken by the law.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall/Room till all OMR Response Sheets and Answer Booklets have been collected by the invigilator.
  • Any candidate who is found either copying or receiving or assisting will be disqualified and it will be treated as an Unfair Means Case, for which the necessary action will be taken. Possession and use of incriminating material for the Entrance Test also amounts to Unfair Means.
  • Unmarked Questions will not be evaluated. Indicating any other mark or symbol or word on the OMR Response Sheets and Answer Booklet will result in disqualification.
