The eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2025 include eligibility requirements related to domicile, age, educational qualification, qualifying examination and the marks scored in it, subject combination in the qualifying test, etc. For admissions into the participating institutes of the state-level engineering entrance exam through MHT CET, all aspirants must fulfill MHT CET eligibility criteria 2025 related to every aspect. Thus, before filling out the application form for MHT CET 2025, candidates must carefully check if they meet the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2025. Candidates found ineligible at any stage of the admission procedure, would be disqualified, even if they have qualified for the examination.
Age limit: does not specify any age limit for candidates who wish to appear for the MHT CET examination.
Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for the All India quota seats in MHT CET 2025.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed/appeared for the 12th Standard examination or equivalent from a recognized board.

Must have passed or appeared in 2025 HSC/12th Class or its equivalent with compulsory subjects of Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/ IT/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/ Technical Vocational subject or Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
Must have secured at least 45% of marks. SC/ST candidates at least 40% marks.
B.Pharma
Must have passed or appeared in 2025 HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry along with either Mathematics/ Biology.
Pharma D
Candidates must have passed or appeared in HSC in 2025 or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry along with either Mathematics/ Biology or Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from affiliated institutes
Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC
Compulsory subjects: Candidates are mandatorily required to have Physics, and Mathematics as their core subjects along with Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology or any other vocational subjects. The minimum marks required by a candidate will be notified by the organizing board. (Usually 50%)
SC/ST aggregate: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category of the society need to have at least 45% aggregate in their 12th standard examination or equivalent to be eligible.
Ward/Spouse/Children of former defence service personnel (who are residents of Maharashtra).
Ward/Spouse of serving defence service personnel (transferred to Maharashtra) are also eligible.
Candidates seeking admission under PwD category, must fulfil the following:
Candidates seeking admission to Bio-Medical/Bio-Tech Engineering courses, should have Biology in their 10+2 and must have passed in this subject.
Female candidates are not eligible for admission to Mining Engineering.
