The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology is a National level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in plastic technology. CIPET JEE 2025 Application Form

The application form for the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology 2025 is available on the official website. The candidate can apply the form online as well as offline. The students who want to be admitted to various campuses of CIPET JEE. Before starting the application process the student must look into the eligibility, of CIPET JEE.

The student who wants to apply for CIPET JEE online 2025 will have to undergo the following steps:-

1) Candidates will have to go to the CIPET JEE 2025 exam portal and register themselves.

2) After generating the username and the password he would have to log onto his account using the username and password generated.

3) The candidate has to fill in all his details like his father's name, date of birth, mother's name, senior board examination he is appearing in etc.

4) After updating all the information about himself he would have to upload his recent colour photograph and a copy of a player black and white image of his signature on the portal.

5) Next, the candidate will have to choose a mode of payment he can pay either online via net banking/debit card/credit card

6) The candidate is required to submit the filled-in application along with enclosures (DOB certificate, attested photocopies of X / Diploma / Degree Certificates, attested community certificate [for SC, ST, OBC (NCL) candidates)], residential proof for North Eastern State Region, if applicable) to the following address:

Application Fee

  • The application fee is Rs. 250/- for general candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST.
  • The fee can be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of CIPET payable at Bhubaneswar.
  • There is no application fee for candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, or Tripura.

CIPET JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria:

The maximum age limit for M.Sc (Tech) is 21 years as of July 2025.

For PGD-PPT, PGD-PTQM, PD-PMD with CAD/CAM candidates, the maximum age limit is 25 years and 20 years for that of DPMT & DPT.

Relaxation: There is relaxation in age for the SC/ST/North Eastern candidates.

Education Qualification

For PGD-PPT: Bachelor degree in science stream with Chemistry.

For PGD-PTQM: Bachelor degree in science stream with Chemistry, Physics & Maths.

For PD-PMD with CAD/CAM: Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic Technology, Tool/Production Engg., Mechatronics, Automobile Engg., Tool & Die Making, D.P.M.T/D.P.T (C.I.P.E.T) or equivalent exam.

For DPMT & DPT: 10th pass candidates with Science, Maths, and English can apply for this course.

For M.E/M.Tech-(Plastic Engg./Technology): B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Chemical/  Production/Polymer/Plastics Engg./Technology Or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with Polymer specialization.

M.Tech-P.N.T: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Plastics/ Engg./Technology/Polymer/Chemical Or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Physics/Chemistry with valid G.A.T.E score.

M.Sc.-PS: B.Sc. (Science) Degree with Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Science/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Polymer Chemistry/Chemistry as one of the major subject

M.Sc. (Tech): H.Sc./12th with Maths, Physics & Chemistry

CIPET JEE 2025 Exam Pattern

Type of Exam: It will be of Objective Type Question.

Duration of Exam: The Main exam will be conducted in 2 hours and Preliminary exam will be conducted in 3 hours.

Subjects: As per academic qualification and GK.

Maximum Questions: Total of 100 questions will be asked in exam.

Parts: It will consist of two parts, i.e. first is Preliminary exam and second is Main exam.

CIPET JEE 2025 Admit Card

CIPET JEE 2025 hall ticket will be released in the month of May 2025. Hall tickets can be accessed from the official website. It contains the details of entrance exam such as date of exam, time and venue of the exam and some necessary instruction regarding written exam.

CIPET JEE 2025 Result

The CIPET JEE 2025 results will be announced in July (expected). Candidates can access their scores online from the official website. Candidates can check their score and proceed for the admission procedure according to their score.

CIPET JEE 2025 Counselling

CIPET JEE Counselling is supposed to happen in the month of CIPET JEE Counseling has not been declared yet so for more information candidates may visit the official website. Information where counselling details can be found: http://cipet.gov.in/

Procedure to appear in CIPET JEE Counselling

  • A candidate has to confirm their ranking based on the merit list and then has to confirm the counselling date from the official website of CIPET JEE Counselling.
  • A candidate has to decide their choice of course before he wishes to appear for CIPET JEE counselling, but based on its ranking he/she may get the course of his choice.

Candidates must know about the required documents required to bring while appearing for CIPET JEE Counseling.

  • Original counselling letter along with a photocopy of the counselling letter
  • Original Admit card along with a photocopy of the admit card
  • A bank draft has to be made as per the guidelines mentioned on the CIPET JEE prospect
  • All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class
  • Rank Card / Hall Ticket
  • Scorecard (if applicable)
  • Original degree/provisional certificate if the candidate is appearing
  • Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority
  • Medical documents mentioned on the CIPET JEE application form
