VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2025 have been announced by VIT University. VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria include age limit, qualifying exam, and minimum marks that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for admission to the B.Tech programs offered. Candidates who are shortlisted based on their performance in VITEEE 2025 will have to submit originals of relevant documents. At the time of counseling, the admission authority will verify whether the candidate meets the eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2025. VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be a resident of India. Non-resident Indians (NRIs) Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) are also eligible to apply for VITEEE 2025.
  • Candidates must have completed 21 years of age (date of birth must fall on or after 1st July 2000). Proof of date of birth must be authenticated with High School/SSC/X Certificate.  Original proof of age must be produced at the time of counselling/admission, failing which, the candidature will be disqualified automatically.
  • Candidates who have completed or appeared in 2025 in any of the following qualifying examinations are eligible.
    • Final Examination of 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
    • 2-year Intermediate Examination (after 10th class/SSC) or 2-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
    • High school Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. Physics and Mathematics at HL (Higher Level) and Chemistry at Higher Level/Standard Level is compulsory for IB candidates.
    • Regular NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) candidates are also eligible to apply for VITEEE 2025.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) in the qualifying examination (as mentioned above).
  • In respect of the following candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage is 45% (PCM/PCB).
    • Candidates belonging to SC/ST are subject to the production of an original valid certificate.
    • Candidates were hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura, subject to production of valid Nativity Certificates.
  • Candidates of PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology)/PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), English, and Aptitude Test in VITEEE-2025 are eligible to seek admission for all the B.Tech Programmes.
  • Candidates of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Aptitude & Aptitude Test in VITEEE-2025 are eligible to seek admission for the following B.Tech., Programmes:
    • Bioengineering (Bhopal)
    • Biotechnology (Vellore)
    • Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics (Vellore)
    • Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics) (Bhopal)

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Additional Points

  • Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combination can apply to all the 20 B.Tech. Degree Programmes offered by the university.
  • Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for B.Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programs. They can also apply for B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics) but after joining, they have to undertake Mathematics as a compulsory bridge course.
  • At the time of admission, the candidate must submit originals of relevant documents, including: If the candidate is found ineligible at any point during the admission process, the candidate will be disqualified.
