UP TET 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for UP TET 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. The UP TET consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2.

For Paper 1 (Primary Teacher):

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50%.
• Candidates should have completed or appearing in the final year of either 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education, 2 years of Diploma in Education, or 4 years of Elementary Education.
• Candidates who are graduated or in the final year of B. Ed are also eligible.
• Candidates should be 18 years of age as on 2024. However, there is no upper age limit given.

For Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teacher):

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50%.

UP TET 2024 – Registration/Application Process

The registration and application process will begin soon as the dates are yet to be released by the officials in the website portal. The process will be done through online mode.

Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website – https://updeled.gov.in/ to begin the registration and application process by clicking on “Application Form” link.

Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.

Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through online mode only.
