Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET) the government of Karnataka, and the Department of School Education will lead the Teacher Eligibility Test. Consistently Karnataka Education Department leads the Karnataka TET for the hopefuls who wish to end up instructors in private and government schools of Karnataka. Through this examination, competitors will be shortlisted in the event that they clear the examination and will be chosen for the Teacher post. The Paper-I exam is for the Lower Primary Teacher and Paper II is for the Upper Primary Teacher. The state government has endowed the duty of the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) to the Centralized Admission Cell (CAC) of Bangalore.

Students who succeeded in Karnataka TET 2025 are not present with the privilege of enrolment or recruitment anyway it is a key qualification for work as a teacher. The validity time frame for this qualifying authentication is seven years from the date of announcement of the result for all categories.

STEP 4: Download the Confirmation page / Generate Application Form

KARTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age:  only candidates can apply who have completed the age of 18 years. 

Educational Qualifications for Class (1 to 5)

Applicants must have scored 45% in 10+2 or equivalent standard or appear in the 2nd year of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).  OR

Applicants must have 45% marks in 10+2 standard or equivalent or appear in the final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Educational Qualifications for Class (6 to 8)

Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree or appear in the Final year of a Diploma in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). 

Candidate must have passed 10+2 standard with 45% marks and Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El..Ed.) & appearing or passed B.ED degree.

KARTET 2025 Exam Pattern

  • The examination will be of a pan-paper base.
  • The time duration for each paper will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • The question paper will comprise Multiple Choice Questions i.e. MCQs.
  • Candidates will be asked 150 questions.
  • In Karnataka TET 2025 examination negative marking will not be done.
  • Each paper will be of 150 marks (i.e. each question in both papers will carry 1 mark).

KARTET 2025 Syllabus

The syllabus for Paper 1 is as follows:

KRA TET Admit Card 2025

Admit cards for Karnataka TET 2025 can be downloaded from the official website of the authority.  To obtain the admit card candidates have to provide either the Registration Number of Application or their Name and Date of Birth.  It is mandatory to carry admit card at the examination center.  

KRA TET Result 2025

The result of the Karnataka TET 2025 will be available on the official website in the month of 1st September 2025.  Those who qualify for the Karnataka TET will be called for document verification.  Candidates have to produce a printed copy of the result along with the other documents to be verified
