The PGCET 2024 will be conducted in the 2nd week of November 2024. The registration process will begin in the 2nd week of October in 2024 which will continue till the last week of October 2024. The PGCCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to PG courses such as MBA, MCA, M. Tech, and others in various government and private Universities in Karnataka.

PGCET 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the PGCET 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.

For ME/ M. Arch/ M. Tech Courses:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in either B. Tech or B. Sc. stream.
  • Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the SC/ ST/ Category – I of Karnataka candidates).

For MBA Courses:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates).
  • Candidates appearing in their final exam in 2024 are also eligible.

For MCA Courses:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates).
  • Candidates are also required to have Mathematics as mandatory subjects with either Statistics or Computer Science.

PGCET 2024 – Registration/Application Process

The registration and application process is conducted through online mode only and will begin in the 2nd week of October 2024 and will continue till the last week of October 2024.

Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official and create a profile.

Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.

Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through offline mode.

PGCET 2024 – Availing of Admit Card

Candidates appearing for the PGCET 2024 will be able to download their admit cards online. These admit cards will be available in the 2nd week of November 2024. All the candidates should go through the details provided in their respective hall tickets/admit cards before appearing in the exam venue.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website after submitting their application number and Date of Birth. Candidates are also advised to carry their valid ID cards in the entrance exam hall.

PGCET 2024 – Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in offline mode with 100 MCQ-based questions in English language.

Time Limit: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Marking: For each correct answer a candidate will be given 1 mark, and there is no negative marking given.

The PGCET 2024 results are expected to be declared in the month of December 2024, and candidates can check their results online through the official website. However, the candidates will be able to download the answer keys before the results are declared i.e., in the 2nd week of November 2024.
