Andhra Pradesh State Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET 2025) for admission into Post Graduate degrees of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in various University Constituent and Affiliated Colleges for the Academic Year 2025/23 in Andhra Pradesh.
AP ICET 2025 will be conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of A.P.State Council of Higher Education.
Candidates must follow a few simple steps to download AP ICET 2025 Results. Following are the steps involved in downloading the AP ICET 2025 Results:
• Candidates need to visit the official website at icet-sche.aptonline.in• To click on the “Result” tab on the homepage.• Candidates need to enter his/her login credentials obtained at the time of registration of application like Registration ID, Hall Ticket Number and confirm.
• AP ICET 2025 Results/Rank Card will appear on the screen• Candidates need to download, save, and obtain a printout of the same for future reference.
AP ICET 2025 results/Rank Card will consist of the following information. Candidates need to check the correctness of the details mentioned therein after taking print out and in case of any discrepancies, they must immediately contact the Convener, AP ICET 2025 at the address mentioned above.
• Name of the Candidate• Registration Number• Hall Ticket Number• Date of birth of the candidate• Details of Centre of AP CET 2025• Gender of the candidate• Details of Marks/Rank obtained by the candidate• Date of AP CET 2025 Test appeared by the candidate
• AP ICET 2025 Results/Rank Card is valid for one year only for the academic year applied for, appeared in, and qualified for.• For General and un-reserved candidates, the qualifying marks shall be 25% of the total marks of 200 (50 marks out of total 200).
• For Reserved Categories, there is no cut off for qualifying marks.
In view of AP CET 2025 being conducted in two different sessions with different question papers with the same pattern of examination for the same exam from the same syllabus, there is a possibility of candidates getting apprehensive of variation in the difficulty level of questions. To rule of out such apprehensions in the minds of the candidates, the authorities shall follow a scientific process of normalization of AP ICET 2025 Results/Scores, as explained hereunder:
Normalized marks of the candidate = GASD+(GTA-CASD)/(STA-SASD) X (marks obtained by the candidate in the subject in a session – SASD)
Where:
SASD = Sum of average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the subject of a session where the candidate appeared.
GASD = Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all subject sessions put together
STA = Average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the subjects of a session, where the candidates appeared.
GTA = Average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all the subject sessions put together.
In case more than one candidate gets the same marks in AP ICET 2025 results, it is called a tie and the following procedure shall be typically followed by the authorities concerned before declaring the AP ICET 2025 results:
• In the first attempt, marks obtained in Section-A will be considered and the candidate who scored higher marks in Section-A shall be placed at the high rank amongst the candidates of tie.
• In case the tie further persists, marks obtained in Section-B will be taken into consideration and the candidate who scored higher marks shall be placed at the high rank amongst the candidates of tie.
• If the tie persists further, the age of the candidates shall be considered for breaking the tie by placing the older aged candidate at the high rank amongst the candidate of tie.
Web-based Counselling for AP ICET 2025 will be held by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and tentatively commences from September 2025. Qualified candidates in AP ICET 2025 must register for Counselling online mode on the official website.
The following steps are involved in the process of AP ICET 2025 web-based counselling:(1) Registration(2) Payment of Fee(3) Verification of Original Certificates(4) Exercising web options(5) Release of Seat allotment letters(6) Reporting to the allotted college(7) Completion of pre-admission formalities in the college concerned.
• Candidates need to visit the official website of AP ICET 2025 at icet-sche.aptonline.in• To click on “Candidate Registration” and enter the details of ICET Hall Ticket Number, Date of birth of the candidate and then click on the “Submit” button. The system validates the documents already submitted by the candidate.• Candidates at this stage need to fill up the following details:o Name of the Candidateo Date of birtho Aadhar Card No.o Gender (Male/Female)o Father’s Nameo Address for communicationo Mobile Numbero Category of the candidate (Gen/BC/SC/ST)o Educational detailso AP ICET 2025 detailso To verify the details and submit
o After successful completion of registration of application for counselling, candidates need to click on payment of a fee which will direct them to the payment gateway.o Candidates need to select Debit/Credit/Net Banking mode make the processing fee as mentioned above and submit.o A print out of the payment receipt is to be obtained for future reference.AP ICET 2025: COUNSELLING: STEP 3: Verification of Certificates:o All the uploaded certificates during the process of registration will be forwarded to the Verification Officer.o Candidates need to re-upload any certificate if the Verification Officer desires to do so.o Candidates need to take appropriate care while uploading the documents, to ensure that all relevant data is correctly indicated and uploaded, to avoid rejection of one or more certificates by the Verification Officer.
o Under this step, candidates must visit the web option selection page and enter the credentials like Hall Ticket Number and date of birth of the candidate. o The screen shall show different colleges of Government/Self-financed/Private in different colour codes.o Once the candidate selects the colleges, they will appear on the right-hand screen.o Candidates must verify the same and save it to lock.
o Once the authorities complete the exercise of allotment of seats to the candidates taking into consideration reservations and other aspects, provisional seat allotment letters shall be issued.o Candidates will be allowed to download the allotment letters issued in his/her favour from the official website and obtain a printout of the same.
o In this final step, candidates will be provided with a separate option of “self-reporting” o Candidates need to report to the College concerned along with all original documents and the allotment letter issued to them, for completing pre-admission formalities in the college concerned, including payment of academic fees.
