TNEA Round 2 Counselling 2024: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will announce the tentative seat allotment result for Round 2 of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 today (August 13). Candidates who participated in the counselling process can view their results on the official TNEA website, tneaonline.org.
Once out, candidates will have the option to accept their allotted seat with or without moving further, or they may decline the seat while still opting for upward movement. Additionally, candidates can choose to exit the counselling process entirely.
Candidates must confirm their decision regarding the allotted seat to avoid the cancellation of their admission. The deadline to affirm their choice is August 14 at 5 pm. The provisional seat allotment list for TNEA round 2 is scheduled to be released on August 15.
Step 1: To check the TNEA 2024 round 2 tentative seat allotment result, candidates need to visit the official website at tneaonline.org.
Step 2: Once on the homepage, they should locate and click on the link titled ‘TNEA Counselling 2024 Tentative Allotment Result for Round 2.’
Step 3: After accessing the link, candidates must log in using their credentials. Upon successful login, the seat allotment list will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: It is advisable to download and save the page, and also print a copy for future reference.
Candidates who decide to accept the allotted seat must download the seat allocation letter, report to the assigned institute, complete the admission formalities, and pay the requisite fees. These steps should be taken after the final seat allotment results are published, which is anticipated on August 23. The round 3 counselling process is expected to commence thereafter.
Candidates must report to their respective colleges with all necessary documents and complete the fee payment. The supplementary counselling for TNEA 2024 is scheduled from September 6 to 8, followed by the SCA to SC counselling sessions on September 10 and 11.
TNEA 2024 manages admissions to government and government-aided engineering colleges, as well as university departments and constituent colleges affiliated with Anna University and Annamalai University.
