NEET UG counselling 2024: Round 1 seat allotment out for MBBS, BDS admissions

NEET UG Round One Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat allotment results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 counselling round 1 for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ).

The candidates who qualified for the NEET and registered for the MCC counselling can check their seat allotment status on the official website – mcc.nic.in. Here are the steps students can follow to download the seat allotment

Step 1: Go to the official MCC website – mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link for ‘NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result’.

Step 3: Fill in your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Submit the information and log in to your profile.

Step 5: Review the seat allotment details displayed.

Step 6: Download the allotment order for future use.

The NEET UG 2024 seat allotment list will include important details such as each candidate’s NEET rank, the medical college they’ve been assigned to, the quota under which they’ve been allotted, the course, and their allotment status.

NEET UG seat allotment 2024: What next after seat allotment

According to the schedule, candidates who receive an admission offer in Round 1 of the NEET counselling must report to their assigned college between August 24 and August 29.

The verification of the data of admitted candidates by the colleges and the sharing of this information by the MCC will take place from August 30 to August 31.

If a candidate is not satisfied with their allotment of seats, they can express their interest in upgrading to a higher preference they had previously submitted. For reporting to the allotted college, candidates must download and bring their MCC NEET UG 2024 allotment order.

Additionally, candidates need to bring several documents for verification including a valid ID proof, Class 10 and 12 certificates, and, if applicable, caste, income, and PwD certificates.

They should also bring at least eight passport-sized photographs that match with the one uploaded in their NEET UG application.
