JIPMER: Final and Open Counselling for BSc courses 2023 on October 31

Final & Open Counselling of BSc Courses at JIPMER for the 2023-24 Academic year is scheduled on October 31 to fill up 14 vacant seats. A total of 6 seats are reserved for females in BSc Nursing and one seat is reserved for males.

In BSc Allied Health Science Courses as many as 8 seats are available, 5 in Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences, one in Medical Laboratory Technology in Blood Banking, and two in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.

"New vacancy / vacancies may arise in the aforesaid courses if any student discontinues from his / her course by 31.10.2023 (01.00P.M). Further, additional vacancy may arise in the aforesaid courses in case, if any student who has already joined in any of these courses switches over his / her course during the final & open counselling," reads the official notification.

Certificate verification will be conducted offline (in person) at JIPMER. The candidates have to show the printout of JIPMER BSc Courses Application form 2023 to the security officials at the entrance of the counselling venue i.e. JIPMER Academic Centre, JIPMER, Puducherry for entry into the hall.

Documents Required for JIPMER BSc courses 2023

The following documents are needed for JIPMER BSc courses 2023:

  • Valid Photo Identity proof (Aadhar card/ Bank passbook/ Driving license)
  • Admit Card of NEET (UG) 2023 Exam issued by NTA.
  • Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
  • A printout of JIPMER BSc Courses Application form 2023.
  • Proof of Date of Birth (X Std. Certificate or Birth Certificate).
  • Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination (XII Pass certificate)
  • Statement of marks of the qualifying examination (XII Mark sheet).
  • Character and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institute last studied.
  • Residence Certificate issued by Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar or Aadhaar card.
  • For candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes-NCL/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, Community Certificate, should be obtained from Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar. 
  • OBC-NCL Certificate
  • should have been obtained on or after April 01,2022.
  • For Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates, certificate should be obtained from Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar.
  • Certificate should have been obtained on or after April 01, 2022.
  • Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied or Migration Certificate. 
  • For candidates applying under Puducherry UT quota, Residence Certificate/Employer Certificate as mentioned in the BSc Prospectus 2023-24 academic year.
  • For PwD candidates: Medical Certificate from the authorized centres as listed in the NTA NEET 2023 Information Bulletin.
