JEE Main 2024 Session 2: These things are allowed in the exam hall

JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 Exam Guidelines: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin conducting session 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024 from April 4. Registered candidates can download their hall tickets from the official JEE Main 2023 website — jeemain.nta.ac.in

The second session exam will be held between April 4 and 12. Those who wish to improve their session 1 score were allowed to appear for session 2 exams. In such cases, the highest of the two scores will be considered while preparing the merit.

Necessary documents

— Candidates should remember to carry their JEE Main admit card, along with self-declaration downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.

— Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.

— Identification proof such as Aadhaar card or PAN Card.

— Students can also carry their city slip with them, however, it is not necessary.

Things allowed in the exam hall

— Students can carry a transparent ballpoint pen.

— Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), if required.

— A transparent water bottle.

— Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange), in case the candidate is diabetic.

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main should note that they cannot carry instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any paper/ stationery/ textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone/ earphone/ microphone/ pager, calculator, Docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices to the examination centre.

 

The exam will be conducted in two shifts, the first shift will held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be conducted between 3 pm and 6 pm. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre at 7:30 am for the morning shift and at 2 pm for the evening shift.

After that JEE Main 2024 instructions are given by the invigilator, the candidates can log in to read instructions at 8:50 am for the first shift and at 2:50 pm for the second shift.
