COMEDK UGET 2018: Exam date and other important details

The notification for Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2018 has been released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). All those who are interested in applying for the same are required to do so at the official website www.comedk.org

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 13, 2018 for admission to engineering courses.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

Engineering

The qualifying examination is PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination recognised by state/central government; the last two years of study shall comprise of physics/chemistry and mathematics with English as a compulsory subject

The general merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggrevate of 45 per cent and should have passed these subjects individually

Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Architecture

Candidates should have cleared II PUC, their 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam from a recognised board

They should have scored at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for reserved categories) in their plus two exams

They should have appeared for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and should have scored at least 80 marks out of 200.

The entrance exam will be an online computer based test and will be held at centers across the country.
