APSET 2018 to be conducted on July 1, registration begins on March 26

Andhra University has released an exam notification that APSET 2018 will be conducted on July 1 this year and the registration will start from March 26. The exam will be held in 31 subjects. Candidates are advised to submit their applications at the official website of the APSET, apset.net.in

SYLLABUS FOR APSET 2018:

The syllabus prescribed by UGC-CSIR and UGC-NET for paper-I and Paper-II without negative marks will be adopted for APSET. The Paper II & III are combined together to become Paper-II, the notification said.

LAST DATE TO APPLY FOR APSET 2018:

The last date to apply for the APSET exam is May 2.

REGISTRATION FEE FOR APSET 2018:

For general category candidates: Rs. 1000 (For B.C. category: Rs. 800/-)

For SC/ST/PH/VH category: Rs. 500/-

Fees must be paid through credit card or debit card or net banking

EXAM PATTERN OF APSET 2018:

The exam will be bilingual and there will be no negative marking

The exam will comprise of two papers: Paper 1 will consist of 50 objective type questions to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate; Paper 2 will carry 100 subject specific objective questions

APSET 2018 CONDUCTED FOR THE RECRUITMENT AND PROMOTIONS:

The exam is conducted for recruitment and promotions of Lectures or Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges as per the University Grant Commission Regulations (UGC) for the year 2018.

EXAM CENTRES FOR APSET 2018:

APSET 2018 will be held in Visakhapatnam, Rajamundry, Guntur, Nellore, Ananthapur, and Thirupati.
