AP POLYCET 2024: Registration date extended; check admit card release date

AP POLYCET 2024: The State Board of Technical Education and Training today extended the registration deadline for AP POLYCET 2024. Candidates now have time till April 10 to apply at the official website — polycetap.nic.in.

Initially, aspirants had time till April 5 to fill the AP POLYCET 2024 application form, which has been extended due to unknown reasons. As per the official exam calendar, the exam will be held on April 27.

The official notice also stated that the admit cards for AP POLYCET 2024 will be available for download seven days before the exam date, i.e. after April 20.

Step 1: Visit the official website — polycetap.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Application’ tab given on the home page.

Step 3: Login and fill the application form.

Step 4: Pay the required application fee

Step 5: Submit the form. Download the payment receipt and hall ticket for future reference.

To apply for the AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2024, an individual will have to pay the required amount of Rs 400, and those who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes, will have to pay Rs 100.
 

Candidates are advised to fill only one application form, as filling of multiple forms may lead to rejection.

Eligibility

— Educational qualification: A candidate must have passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) i.e. class 10, or should now be appearing for the board exams.

— Age limit: There is no upper age limit to participate in the AP POLYCET 2024, but a candidate must be 17 years old, as of December 31, 2024.

POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training. Students who clear the exam are eligible for admission to engineering, non-engineering diploma-level programmes conducted in government, aided, private, unaided polytechnics and second shift polytechnics run in existing private unaided engineering colleges.
