AEEE 2024 registration begins; check eligibility, fee

AEEE 2024: The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is inviting applications for AEEE (Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering) 2024. Interested candidates can apply for AEEE 2024 at the official website — amrita.edu. 

Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2024 will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across 125+ cities in India and UAE. The duration of AEEE 2024 will be 2.5 hours with 100 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Registration fee for AEEE 2024 is Rs 1200.

As per the schedule, the entrance examination will be held in two phases — the initial phase is scheduled for January 19 to 22, while the second phase is tentatively planned for May 10 to 14.

The eligibility for appearing in the AEEE test is Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with not less than 55 per cent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately, and an aggregate minimum of 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Scholarships are available to qualifying students from all branches of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for 85 per cent of seats in BTech programmes. Scholarships worth 4.5 crores approximately are being offered every year to top-ranking 300+ eligible candidates. Scholarships for the first year are based on the admission exam rank, i.e., AEEE or JEE Mains. Scholarships are awarded depending on the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) in the succeeding years.

Admission to BTech programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Amaravati, Mysuru, Nagercoil is based on the rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2024 or JEE Mains 2024 or SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or Pearson UG Engineering Entrance Examination Score (PUEEE).
