The Punjab Medical Entrance Test is the competitive entrance examination organized by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. It is one of the most popular Medical Entrance Examinations conducted in India. The PMET examination is carried out for admission to several undergraduate medical courses at the medical colleges in Punjab that are affiliated with this university. The different programs include MBBS, BAMS, BDS, and BHMS.

The Punjab MBBS Application Form 2025 will be available for the candidates in the month of April by the counseling authorities. The candidates have to fill out the application form online and submit it before the last date.

How to apply for Punjab PMET 2025:

• Visit the official website of Punjab PMET and fill in your personal details.
• You will have a login ID and a password you can use for the main registration.
• Proceed to the main registration of the applicant and provide details about education.
• The candidate has to choose a center for examination from the list of centers.
• Check the information you entered once again and then click the Final Submit button.
• Payment of the fees through Bank challan or via online payment getaway.
• The examination fee for Punjab PMET 2025 is INR 5000 for General and INR 2500 for SC category candidates.

PMET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate who has completed their plus one and plus two exams from a recognized institution with 50 % marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• The candidates must study English as a subject in their plus two. The candidates who have 17years of age at the admission time are only eligible for getting admission.
• The candidates who are going to write their plus two examinations can also apply for the test. They have to submit their eligibility certificates at the time of the counseling section. The candidates of Punjab are only eligible for the test.

PMET 2025 Exam Pattern

The candidate who has fulfilled the eligibility criteria has to prepare for the above subjects to write the Punjab PMET examination well.

• Each question will carry four marks.
• There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
• However, one mark will be deducted for an unanswered question.
• The duration will be 3 hours.

PMET 2025 Admit Card

Admit cards will be available for all the candidates who have satisfied the eligibility criteria from June 2025 and it can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab PMET. It will not be sent either by post or through email. Candidates have to download it from the official website.

How to download the admit card:

• Log in to the official website of Punjab PMET to get the admit card.
• Enter your registered email ID and password to get the admit card.
• Download and Print the Admit Card.

In case of non-availability of the admit card, the candidate who has satisfied the eligibility criteria needs to write to the Office of the registrar by email, phone, or fax.

PMET 2025 Result

Punjab PMET 2025 Results will be declared in the Last week of June 2025 on the official website and candidates have to log in using their User ID and Date of Birth to check their results. The Merit List for PMET 2025 will be prepared only on the basis of the marks scored by the candidate in the exam. An answer key will also be displayed by the University.

PMET 2025 Counselling

The successful candidates will have to take part in the counseling process which will begin in July 2025. Punjab PMET counseling will be conducted online mode only.

Candidates who will qualify for Punjab PMET 2025 as per the merit list will be eligible to participate in the online counseling for admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in medical and dental colleges of Punjab. In order to participate in the Punjab PMET 2025 counseling, candidates have to fill out a preference form for both MBBS & BDS courses through the common online admission application form.
