AP POLYCET 2025 Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) is a state-level common entrance exam conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), AP. This entrance exam is conducted for admission into Engineering and Non-Engineering diploma programs which are offered by various polytechnic colleges in the Andhra Pradesh state.
The notification of AP POLYCET 2025 for admissions into the academic year 2025-23 will be released in the month of April 2025. AP Polycet 2025 Application Process starts on April, 2025.
Application Fee: Rs 400 /-
a) Online Payment using Credit/Debit Card.

How to Apply Online:
1) Visit the official website and pay the application fee through payment gateway (if online payment).
2) Enter the details of fee payment.
3) Proceed to the Application form and fill the personal and academic details.
4) Upload the photograph and signature.
5) Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
1) The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2) Candidate should satisfy the local/unreserved status as per the requirement laid down in AP Educational Institutions Order 1974 Regulation of Admission.
3) Candidates should have passed SSC/Class X exam or its equivalent exam recognised by Andhra Pradesh state government.
4) Candidates should have passed the SSC or its equivalent exams with a minimum of 35% in all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
5) Candidates who are appearing for SSC or its equivalent exams are also eligible providing they should secure the minimum marks as above mentioned.
6) Candidates who are waiting for their results in SSC or its equivalent exams are also eligible providing they should secure the minimum marks as above mentioned.
7) No age limit for AP POLYCET.
1) Mode of Exam: Offline Mode. Pencil & Paper-based test.
2) Duration: 2 hours of duration will be given to complete the question paper
3) Total No. of Questions present in the question paper will be 120 questions.
4) Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
5) Each question carries 1 mark.
6) Question paper is of total 120 marks.
7) Questions will be objective type i.e. multiple type questions.
8) The question paper will be in English, Telugu & Urdu.

AP POLYCET 2025 syllabus will be comprised of subjects from Class X (SSC)
a) Mathematics,
b) Physics,
c) Chemistry.
Candidates can download the hall tickets from the official website of AP POLYCET 2025. To download the hall tickets candidates have to enter details like SSC/Class X hall ticket number, date of birth, and year of passing. Hall tickets will contain information regarding the candidate and test date, time, and venue. Hall Tickets will not be sent by post or mail.
Candidates can get the AP POLYCET 2025 results from the official website of AP POLYCET 2025. Results are expected to be announced in the month of June 2025. Rank card will be made available on the official website after the result announcement. Rank Cards will not be sent by post or mail.
The schedule for Web Counselling will be released soon after the results are declared. Candidates will be called for counseling procedures based on the marks obtained. Candidates need to register and pay a non-refundable counseling fee of Rs 300/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST category). There will be certificate verification and candidates have to submit a Xerox copy of the certificates. After the counseling procedure, all candidates have to choose the colleges through web options.
1) Mere appearance in AP POLYCET will not give any right of admission.
2) Any change will not be permitted to be made in the application after its submission.
3) The conduct of AP POLYCET is subject to orders and instructions issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
4) All disputes arising out of any matter concerning AP POLYCET shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the A.P. High Court only.
5) Candidates are directed to carry HB pencils to the examination hall.
6) The candidate will not be allowed into the examination hall after the commencement of the examination.
