The Director of Public Instruction (DPI) used to head the Technical Education also at the time of the formation of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING” is shortly Known as AP SBTET. To help accelerate the procedure of improvement of Technical Education, the “STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING” was established on 26th Feb 1957. And then the AP board framed a statutory body in the year 1984 on 24th April under A.P. Education Act-1982. It offers quality education to the students which are located in the region of Andhra Pradesh state. This board provides various diploma courses in engineering and non-engineering, technical courses, and pharmacy subjects.
Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education Annually conducts C16, C14, C09 & ER-91 Regular/Supply 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Semester examinations. These semester exams are organized twice in a year. A huge number of students are participating in these exams. Generally, the first, third, and fifth semesters are held from October to November. Similarly, the second, fourth, and sixth semesters conducting in the month of April to May. The results will usually be declared in over 45-55 days.
