NEET UG 2024: Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus, Admit Card

A nationwide entrance exam known as NEET MDS is required for admission to a number of postgraduate dental surgery programs. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) administers it. The 9th  February 2024 has been designated as the exam date for the NEET MDS 2024. The application form will be made available during the first week of January 2024, and applications must be completed by the 3rd week of January 2024. The admit card will be available to download from the website in the 1st   week of February 2024.

There is just one eligibility/entry exam required for admission to MDS. For admission to MDS courses, no additional entrance exam is regarded as acceptable. To be admitted to MDS at any of the nation's institutions or universities, one must qualify for NEET MDS.

NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the exam, make sure you meet all of the requirements listed below for NEET MDS eligibility:

  • Those who are interested in applying for MDS admission must hold a BDS degree from an institution or university that has been approved by DCI.
  • He or she needs to be registered with the State Dental Council and have either a permanent or provisional registration.
  • It is required that he or she completed a year-long mandatory rotational internship at a dental college that has been accredited.
  • Those who pass the international dental degree or BDS and are undergoing a 12-month mandatory rotatory internship must finish it by March 31, 2024, in order to sit for the exam. However, these applicants won't be able to get in until they have finished their internship or have a certificate from the institution's head presented.

NEET MDS 2024 Application Process

The first week of January 2024 will see the release of the application form. The third week of January 2024 will mark the deadline for online application submissions.

Those who successfully pay the price will have the ability to modify, update, or add information to their application starting in the final week of January 2024. In the final week of January 2024, the authority will also open the final edit opportunity for defective or incorrect images.

NEET MDS  2024 Admit Card

The National Board of Examination in Medical Science, or NBEMS, will release the NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card during the first week of February 2024. It includes information about the name, exam date, birthdate, time, gender, dress code, and other characteristics. Candidates need to enter their Registration ID and Password in order to download their admission card.

The steps to download the NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card are shown below:

  • Visit  the official website- https://nbe.edu.in/
  • Locate the NEET MDS 2024 login or the link to download the admit card.
  • On the candidate portal, candidates must provide their login information, including their candidate ID and password.
  • Click the link to download the NEET MDS admission card after logging into the website.
  • Print the admission card so you have it for future use.
  • Candidates must attach their photograph to the allotted space on the printed admission card, which must be at least 35 by 45 mm in size.

NEET MDS  2024 Exam Pattern

Applicants need to review the NEET MDS 2024 Exam Pattern provided below:

Exam Mode: An online computer-based test will be used for the exam (CBT).

Duration: The exam will take a total of three hours to complete.

Language: Only English will be used for exam questions.

Exam length: The exam will consist of 240 questions in total.

NEET MDS 2024 Cut-Off

The minimum qualifying percentile is 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates and 50th percentile for general candidates. The NEET PG cut off is determined by a number of factors, such as the total number of students that took the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and others. In order to be eligible to take part in NEET PG counseling in 2024 and be considered for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs, candidates must achieve the minimal qualifying percentile.
