The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) administers the Assam Combined Entrance Examination. The authority administers an admission exam at the state level every year. Assam CEE is  organized to provide admission to B.Tech/B.E programs offered by Assamese colleges. The NMC has updated the NEET Eligibility Criteria for 2024. It is advised that students thoroughly review the eligibility requirements before filling the application.

Nationality:

• Candidates should be citizens of India.
• Domicile: The candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam & have a domicile of Assam.

Age Criteria:

• Minimum Age Limit: Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years as on 1^st August 2024.
• Maximum Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years.
• Relaxation: There shall be a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit of SC/ST candidates.
• The maximum age limit for B.Sc passed students is 22 years.

Qualification Criteria:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to qualify the 10+2 examination from from Assam Higher Secondary Board or an equivalent board without any grace marks.
• Subjects: Candidates must pass the above examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates have to secure minimum 50% marks for general category, 45% marks for scheduled caste (SC) category & 40% marks for scheduled tribe (ST) category taken together in PCM subjects.

ASSAM CEE 2024 Application Process

Candidates will complete the form online.  The application form will be available for candidates to complete during the second week of March 2024. The last date to submit the application form will be till the first week of April 2024.

• Select the tab for the application form now.
• Complete the application form by entering your name, parents' names, residence, educational background, and any other requested information.

• Take a printout of the payment receipt and save it for later usage.

ASSAM CEE  2024 Admit Card

In the second week of May 2024, the Assam CEE 2024 Admit Card will be made available. Online access is available for the admission card. Those who have registered can access the Assam CEE 2024 Admit Card online. The hall ticket will be available for download on the website for candidates. To download the hall ticket, candidates must follow these given steps.

ASSAM CEE 2024 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: An offline exam using OMR answer sheets will be administered.
• Duration: Candidates will have three hours in total to complete the exam.
• Question Count: The exam will consist of 120 questions.
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of the Objective Type will make up this paper.
• Language: The paper will be published in both Assamese and English.
