SRM overall is pretty good. It was established in 1985. It has a brand name. It has more than 10000 students at a time in Btech. That can be considered as a negative point also. The college is overcrowded there is competition of everything and I literally mean everything.

Campus Facilities: There is boys hostel a with a capacity of around 7000 students and girls hostel of capacity around 3000 students. There are any food joints ATMs and even a hdfc bank inside the campus. Basically you can get anything and everything inside the campus.

Campus Life: The campus life is pretty good because there are so many places to hangout with friends. They are constantly upgrading the campus which is improving their facilities.

Faculty: The faculty is pretty good. They are well educated and have a very good grasp of their field. Some are from iit and other foreign universities.They are helpful and approachable.

Placements: More than 700 companies visit the campus for hiring but the thing is there are too many student still nearly 80% of them get placed but the ctc is low. There is almost no internships opputunities on campus but you can apply outside.Many well known companies visit SRM for hiring such as Microsoft TCS Infosys and many more.

Start Up Incubator: Yes SRM has a innovation department where if you have an idea regarding a startup you can pitch them and if they like your idea or they think your idea has potential they might invest in it.
