the college is placed at the outskirts of Chennai in Kattankulathur. the infrastructure and campus of the college is big and of good quality. The teaching staff is well experienced and quality of teaching is good. The only drawback in the college is the high amount of crowd present which makes it difficult to stand out for the campus placements. To achieve good placements i.e. 10LPA+ we need to work really hard and aim for off campus placements side by side.

Campus Facilities: The campus of SRM IST is really big and the infrastructure is up to date and pleasing to the eyes. the teaching staff is well experienced and the style of teaching is great. All the teacher are well spoken in English which make north Indian students easy to understand.

Campus Life: the campus life is good in the college. the college has 2 fests every year i.e. Aarush which happens in the odd semester i.e. the first semester in the year and Milan which happens in the even semester i.e. second semester of the year. The fests are national level and are great. We also keep having events every now and then like different artists coming to the college etc.

Faculty: The Faculty of the college is well experienced and is good in teaching. All the teachers know English which makes north Indian students easy to understand. The faculty is supporting and helps in understanding concepts. The also give examples of the field every now and the for field exposure for out future endeavors

Placements: I can't really tell about internships as I'm currently in 1st year and haven't had any internship till now. But as of seniors telling me we are offered internships in 3rd year and offer letter in 4th year from the same company.
