Hello Everyone Myself Shivam here to Review my college Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College Ghaziabad (AKGEC).I Currently I am in my 4 year of College and pursuing B.Tech through Computer Science branch. I The Overall description of college is like follows disciplined and a systematic approach at every step. The college has top notch faculties who were graduated from reputed institutions and have excellent knowledge about their subject. The surrounding and atmosphere of the college is too cool and I assure that you will achieve exposure in every field. Now talking about the campus it is of 46 acres which is whole built around greenery environment and has a lot of space to enjoy. The college campus has 3 hostels, separate hostel for 1 and 2 year and then for seniors of 3 and 4 year share a same hostel. Mess facility is also good if you compare to other colleges like they have daily schedule of meals and meals change everyday following a week then gets repeat on. Now if I talk about placement scenario they have very high alumni network and bring many opportunities to the students of 4 year. I got the college through UPSEE exam and it is stated as top college among all engineering Colleges of UP so I started pursuing my bachelor course from there. If you have decent score in JEE mains because currently the college started taking admissions on basis of JEE mains percentage so you should keep the college in your mind

Campus Facilities: I am pursuing B.Tech from computer Science and basically you have to secure percentage above 85 to opt for the same. The college also has various courses included also has specialization in these branches like CS-AIML,CSDS, etc. I opted this B.Tech course because from the starting of my class 11 I was like very interested or passionate about these coding languages and software applications and computers etc. then from I thought that engineering will teach me something or give me some practical knowledge about my thoughts and I can say that yes it has two subjects in each semester but every one can handle it in a very easy way by studying before one night only. The whole course will teach you how to handle the pressure in any situation.

Campus Life: Overall campus life is too good you'll enjoy every day because it has many places inside the campus to explore, also no pressure about wearing any dress and at the time of evening like at sunset the views are too awesome. If you go to terrace to watch all the scenes of college you'll feel like you are in a movie and vibing with it. Also college has different societies of different fields like dancing, singing, sports, and gaming. Fests occurs twice in 4 months and every festival brings a very splendid arrangement to the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite good like we have 7-8 subjects in each semester. They slowly start the syllabus by explaining exam and every thing in deep, solving doubts and regular uploading ppts, notes to WhatsApp groups or classroom. Also like 15 days prior to exam they start telling us important topics for the sessional and semester tests also. They teach in a very disciplined manner and following a time table so that they can cover up the syllabus on time. One thing I think is very hectic in college Is maintaining attendance and in this college also you have to attend each and every class because teachers don't behave too linent in this case and this can put you in some trouble also.

Placements: Talking about placement and internships...Yes, we have Placement Cell and currently am in my 4 year of college so they are bringing the companies to our college and directly mail to our college emails so that we can fill the Google form and get registered to the company process. Yes, they are really helpful and helps students to join their dream company also. Also Keep in mind the placement scenario whole depends upon the current market scenario if market is in well condition and hiring is happening then the college will provide you the best opportunities but if market is not good you have to try hard as you can either it can be on campus or off campus.

Campus/Events:

Start Up Incubator: Those who have good and decent project ideas are able to get desired amount from the college. Also the college promotes good ideas and projects which are genuinely good to the industry level and post them to their LinkedIn profiles and etc. So if you are planning to do so then also the college can be a best choice.
